Field End Campsite

Gostou Really warm welcome from Karen, lovely lady who was very helpful and accommodating.
Site was nice and clean, well maintained and they are obviously constantly doing little improvements which is nice to see.
It's a quirky little place in a good way, we were very happy with the booking.

Gostou Friendly hosts.
Clean shower / toilets. The free eggs available in the morning for breakfast were very much appreciated. Would definitely stay again when we arr back the area.

Gostou We stayed here on Saturday and absolutely loved it! The scenery is stunning and the setting is so peaceful. We were greeted by friendly chickens and ducks wandering around, which was such a lovely touch — the owners even kindly gave us a couple of fresh eggs for our dinner, which was a real treat. The facilities are spotless and well maintained, with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The owners couldn’t have been more welcoming and helpful. A wonderful spot to relax, recharge, and enjoy the countryside — we’ll definitely be coming back!

Gostou Everything!! What an absolute gem this campsite is. It’s small, friendly and very well maintained. Each pitch looks over the pretty field which comes alive with twinkly lights at night. The firepits on your pitch are wonderful and the showers are reminiscent of those in the African bush - a delight!!
Thank you to the chickens for our breakfast eggs and huge thanks to Karen and Richard for being such wonderful hosts. See you again soon!!

Gostou We found the site very nice indeed...friendly owners, clean facilities and a tidy neat site. We liked the "extras" petang area, bbq, covered lounge gazebo etc and attractive fairy lights at nightfall

Não gostou Nothing at all was disliked, infact excellant.
However a standalone toilet would be good as when you have shower and toilet combos you have to wait for showers to finish to use the toilet. And some people take a very long time in the shower !!! This is not a criticism of the site at all and we have come across this in several sites that we have visited

Gostou Everything!! It is tucked away and a beautiful quiet spot. Being adults only was brilliant as it was summer holidays. The pitches were big, with electric and water on our pitch. Showers and toilets were always clean, lovely hot shower and hot water for washing pots. The hosts were really welcoming and super friendly! And the icing on the cake were the great games at the site! Petang, badminton, Jenga, connect 4, we played almost all of them and there was a lovely communal seating area too. Such a fantastic site and couldn't recommend it more! We will definitely be back, even if it is 4 hours away!!

Gostou Really great site - adults only and small so very peaceful but also very dog friendly. Facilities were spotless but the little touches like the fairy lights, games and sitting area were what made it a cut above the norm. Log burners on each pitch were a plus. Hosts were very friendly and relaxed.

Não gostou Disliked some of the negative remarks left by other reviewers - if you can’t be happy here then probably best you don’t go camping!
