Dog Crag Cabin

Gostou Great little cosy cabin. Enjoyed having pot of tea in the morning and just the general vibes of the site is nice.
Very quite, get the occasional rooster but I found it very peaceful
Would visit again and bring the dog as has great walks near by for four legged friends

Gostou Idyllic location for those seeking a less hectic part of the Lakes. Cabin was great as it felt cozy and rustic, whilst having the amenities needed. Host was very kind and welcoming. Cute chickens. No negatives at all.

Gostou We loved our stay. It is a lovely location, everything we needed. The cabin was really well designed. We visited Silecroft beach, wast water, Fairy pools at Wasdale and did the Ravenglass train ride. Will deffo come back.

Gostou Very nice place to visit, it was very relaxing the scenery was beautiful, lots of places near by to visit, the owner was very friendly and welcoming.

Gostou A wonderful place, away from the noise. Beautiful views and plenty of walking trails. A clean, well-equipped, and dog-friendly cabin. Louise, the host, was very kind and helpful.

We walked the black combe and went to the beach in silecroft, both within 5 minutes drive.

Gostou The cabin was really well kept, clean and beautifully presented. The farm has lovely surrounding views, perfect for a quiet peaceful getaway. We loved being able to take our golden retriever with us too. There are some lovely walks nearby, we did the costal walk from Silecroft beach to Haverigg after a bite to eat at the beach cafe.

Gostou Lovely well thought out cabin, well made to a good standard and spacious inside
Coffee grounds and a cafetiere left which was lovely, salt and pepper also there and found cooking oil as we were leaving. Beautiful comments from previous people in the guest notes book and a friendly place with some very happy friendly pooches.

Não gostou Kettle has some rust in and could do with replacing, shower didnt have the best water pressure but very impressive build throughout.

Gostou This is so much more than "Glamping" in my opinion! Its a lovely size for a couple, clean, heated and includes wifi. It felt more like a small apartment. We both just thought it was amazing. Bed was extremely comfortable. It's also located close to fantastic walks (especially for beginner walkers/hikers).

Não gostou The only tiny thing I would say I wish they considered - I wish they told us how to access the accomodation on arrival (eg drive down path to converted barn on the left which is signed "Dog Crag". Key will be left in door".) I'm a little more of a nervous person and I felt a little uncomfortable just rocking up and not knowing if we were allowed to just enter the accomodation.

Do gerente: Thanks for the great review and for that info on how you felt on arrival. For future guests, we do not operate a formal 'check in' - we live on site so we are comfortable to put the key out in the door at the check in time so that people can arrive and go straight into the property, this is because people pay in advance and we have the car registration info. If you plan to arrive late in the evening, it is handy to know and we can also leave some lights on and check all OK. We realise after a long journey it is nice not to have to worry about meeting someone to get access so we hope this adds to the relaxation factor!
