High Lane Farm is a small working farm in a peaceful Cheshire spot about a mile from the village of Gawsworth. The village has a pub and a fishery, and it’s also home to Gawsworth Hall, a Tudor manor house that’s open for weekend visits and holds events such as live music and outdoor theatre shows. There’s plenty of space to relax at this adults-only site, and it’s often treated to gorgeous sunrises and sunsets as well as having some lovely scenery to admire at any time of day. There are a couple of dogs on site already, so guests are welcome to bring a dog along – there are several places nearby to take them out for a walk. There’s a rural atmosphere on site but it’s not a tricky location to get to – quite the opposite in fact, as it’s easily accessed from the A536. That also means that it’ll be straightforward to get out and about, perhaps planning a visit to Jodrell Bank or hikes in the southern part of the Peak District National Park. Back on site, facilities include a communal firepit, showers and toilets, and you’re allowed to bring along a barbecue for some alfresco cooking if you don’t fancy the trip to the pub.

Gostou It was super easy to find, the owners were super nice and caring! Campsite was nice and quiet and the spa is defiantly worth it! 100% recommend going here

Gostou This was our 3rd stay at High Lane Farm, we love it here, surrounded by nature and Liz is a fabulous host. Always lovely to see the Turkeys running from one field to the next on the farm.
The barn with the shower and toilet in it is next to the camping field.

Gostou Truly great little site.
A great break in a beautiful part of the country. Site is at the back of the farm with cows mooing in the next field.
The little shed holds everything you didn't think you needed. Kettle, hot water, a fridge and even freezer space if your staying a bit longer.
A true rustic gem, will definitely be back.

Gostou Very welcoming great site with indoor loo and hot shower. Nice spot to sit inside if it’s raining with kettle and microwave. Took home some damson jam and damson gin!

Gostou A Truly Magical Stay – Can't Wait to Return!

My boyfriend and I had the most wonderful stay at this beautiful shepherd's hut, and from the moment we arrived, we felt completely welcomed and cared for. Liz and Steve are absolutely amazing hosts - so friendly, warm, and genuinely dedicated to making sure everything is just perfect.

Liz had the hot tub ready and warm for us when we got there, which was such a lovely touch and the perfect way to start our stay. The hut and surrounding areas were spotless, and it’s clear a lot of thought and love has gone into all the little details - from the cozy touches inside to the beautifully maintained outdoor space.

Waking up on the farm to such stunning scenery was a dream. The cows in the fields made it feel even more special - they really are the stars of the show! We also loved spending time in the sheltered sunbed area, which gave us a peaceful and private space to relax and unwind.

This stay was so good that we immediately booked the bell tent for the following week -we just couldn’t resist coming back so soon. Liz and Steve truly go above and beyond, and Liz in particular made us feel like we were right at home. This is without a doubt a place we’ll return to again and again.

Thank you, Liz and Steve, for such a memorable experience!
