Não gostou The toilet and shower block needs updating. Site didn't feel secure and pub attached closed early and food only served till 3pm as was a Sunday. Signage in toilets a bit strange don't know if it was a joke or not but wouldn't encourage you to contact if there was an issue.pitch ok but hook up was 2 pitches away and no information provided for this so had to figure out ourselves. Better signage for facilities would be an improvement

Gostou - food is fantastic and reasonallbly priced too.
- hardstanding electric pitch priced well.
- friendly, approachable owner and pub staff .
- quiet location set just behind the pub.
- has all the necessities: 240 hookup, elsan waste point, fresh water, washing area.

This was our 3rd visit to The Half Moon Inn and again we had another lovely weekend.

The owner is very friendly and approachable, regularly checking in with visitors to ensure everything is okay with your visit.
Large enough pitches for our 6m campervan as well as other larger vans that turned up during our stay.

Não gostou Only thing we didn't like was that the pub wasn't open until 5pm but after having a casual conversation with the owner we completely understood the reasoning for times.

- not really a dislike but something to remember, pub food is fantastic and tables fill up fast so booking is required. Good sign of good food in our eyes but something to remember to do to avoid disappointment.

Gostou The owner (Andy I believe) was very friendly and the pitch was a very good size. Simple campsite, functioning facilities. Good communication. Easy to find.

Gostou Beautiful area and lovely views of the river. Was quiet and spacious and had everything you could need. Food in pub is well made and really good price, and drinks not expensive either. Didn't use shower as had no coins on us, but we have shower onboard anyway so not a big deal for us, and facilities looked decent from what I saw. Friendly welcome from pub and locals. Would definitely come back

Gostou The location is lovely for this site, backing on to the Ouse. The pub "Half Moon Inn" is also lovely. Was fine for the one night we stayed.

Não gostou The showers were rubbish. You pay £1 for 2 minutes of a freezing cold shower that floods out on a site that is already not the cheapest. The loos were reasonably clean, but the floor felt like it was collapsing in the ladies far end.

the showers are adjustable you turn the dial/knob left or right for temperature
the reason the tray was flooding was because a shower bottle label was jamming in the drain, we just discovered, that while cleaning the shower that was fill of grass!
secondly- Why did you not inform the staff off the issue so it could then be rectified?

it took staff 1 minute to clear the drain!

If you had reported the issue we could of refunded you £1, explained in easy terms for you to understand how grown up's use the shower to get the correct temp, & resolved the drain issue.

there is even a sign on the wall asking you to report any issues!!

another doughnut that prefers to type instead of speaking to get a problem resolved.... take ya 6/10 score & put it where the sun dont shine!!

Gostou Lovely small site everything as advertised, kindly gave pitch close to toilets due to mobility issues. Only stayed one night to try new awning so did not eat in pub but others said how good the carvery was!
