Gostou Location and our pitch worked perfect for us. Walked around the park and nature trails which we enjoyed. Facilities were clean and tidy.

Não gostou Nearest toilet block not in action but another was not too far away.

Gostou Loved the trail walks, but need more signposts around the area. We parked our motor home up on site and walked the 6 days, fabulous area, maybe not so suitable for the less mobile.

Não gostou Lack of information from the staff, we found some lovely walks very near to the site, however the staff we asked about the area had no idea or information, as a visitor to the area, we thought they would be more informative. Very large site, however very clean and beautiful, our only real moan was, we were next to 3 very yapping dogs, all day and into the night, we are dog lovers but there was no control over these dogs, every time someone went past off they went, sending a choir of dogs around the site. I’ve often thought why all visitors with dogs are not allocated into one area.

Gostou Everything except for water stand pipe, more really needed.
Loved the forest, the pigs, cows,deer and squirrels
Suggestion a map of how to get to overstrand and beach plus notice board of local events such as the car boot in overstrand on a Thursday.
We enjoyed the area and the walks so much that we would like to come back.
Pitches excellent space. Bin’s excellent, staff and people excellent and genuinely pleasant. Toilet s and shower plus other facilities immaculate.
Loved dog shower.
Would recommend but don’t wish to make it too hard for us to get a pitch lol

Não gostou Water stand pipe, plus small dog leash free area it could do with another bigger one up at scenic point with a couple more benches so people could appreciate the view while letting like minded dogs 🐶 have freedom and fun in a bigger enclosure.
I understand the need to keep dogs leashed on-site because of the wildlife but our four legged furry children also need/would appreciate a bigger playground.

Gostou On arrival we had been allocated pitch right by entrance and office, but when I asked if we could be moved to quieter area staff couldn’t have been more helpful and we were given a lovely spot further down the site. We were a bit taken aback at the size of the campsite - it was huge but it was surprisingly quiet. The facilities were excellent, very clean and well maintained. The grounds were nice, lots of grass and there was a beautiful walk. Would recommend and would return, though probably not during school holidays.
