Polubione Great atmosphere and lovely bar run by Caz and Alby. Really social atmosphere and good value food by Zac. The camping grounds are large, flat and not boggy despite the rain. Nice setting with the river running through.

Niepolubione Toilet block is a little trek from camping pitches and only 1 shower and two toilets. Definitely geared more towards the statics on site who have their own facilities… No shop on site, but Welshpool is only about 6 miles away for and restocking needed.

Polubione Excellent location and pitches were spacious for a large tent (5x4m in my case). Didn’t find it boggy like other reviews. Easy to find with supplied gps co-ordinates in instructions. Toilet and washing up block within easy reach, showers a little trek, but they are open about this. Easy walk down road to Seathwaite for start of Scafel walk. Despite what they say, I did get reasonable 4G reception on EE. Loved the local sheep and that they sometimes wander through the site. Lovely staff too that came round to check in on everything.

Niepolubione Men’s toilet block only has one cubicle (ladies has 2) toilet, which gets busy when there are a lot of pitches booked. Also, hot water wasn’t working in washing up station when we went to use it in evenings. Shame some people don’t abide by keeping fires off ground and a few of the pitches had camp fires dug into the pitch.

Polubione Small site at rear of lovely pub, albeit pub is closed on Mondays and doesn’t serve foot other than weekends. Has two small shower toilet rooms, which are kept clean. I stay most years as a gear shakedown location. This year stayed on a Monday so couldn’t use the pub, but there are other pubs a very short walk away (5 mins) and a local co-op. Monday morning appears to be the keg delivery day for the pub and other than that a peaceful site. All pitches are very close to facilities due to size of site. We pitched by the small pond with running water pump, which was nice.

Niepolubione Hot water at dish cleaning station would be a bonus
