Polubione Great site and has pretty much everything needed. Has a small shop on site with a bar which serves food. Nice size pitches and has a great park for kids to play in. Didn’t use the showers which were alongside the toilets in the shipping container. The lady in the shop and the lady behind the bar were absolutely fantastic and so friendly and welcoming. It’s quite even being close to the road you don’t get a massive amount of noise. Quite relaxing place.

Niepolubione On arrival we had to go to the bar to find the man to book in which seems a little unprofessional. After setting up we went to the bar to ask about food only to be told there wasn’t enough vegetables to complete meals. Then for a large group of “family members” people to arrive and all to be seated and given plates of food. Also I found it absolutely shocking to see several xl bully’s on site. A red one with no muzzle on and hooked to a bench across from its owner (same family group) and a black one it was muzzled and on a lead. There was also a child allowed to run around slapping an older gentleman who told him numerous times to stop whilst the same family did nothing. There was a young man riding a motorcycle around the static caravans with no license plates and no protection on. Children and people just wondered through between where we parked and sat which felt intrusive I understand this instead the parks fault. The bin in the field was overflowing with rubbish. It was emptied the following day but the smell was pretty rancid.

For clarification, our main showers are located at the rear of the clubhouse. The toilets and showers in the container are additional overflow facilities. We are sorry about the issues you experienced. This year, we have asked owners with larger dogs to muzzle them in communal areas. We have also spoken to families about children using small motorbikes and electric scooters around the park. Some holiday-home owners keep these items in their sheds, but everyone must follow our park rules and the 5 mph speed limit. We had a member of staff checking and emptying the rubbish daily. However, during exceptionally busy periods, the bins can sometimes fill more quickly than anticipated. As you noted, the bin was emptied the following day, and we are reviewing how we manage waste during our busiest times. We are also addressing the behaviour and toilet issues you reported. We genuinely appreciate your feedback, as it gives us the opportunity to investigate and resolve any problems. Thank you again, and we hope to welcome you back for an even more enjoyable stay.

Polubione Loved the location and the quiet shop was really nice as was the chip shop. Pitches are a good size. We was put under a tree which on a hot day is ok but as it rained everyday we was there the noise from the rain coming of the tree was loud at times. WiFi was amazing.

Niepolubione Toilets really could do with updating and the showers. Very commercial and no familiar feel to the place.

Polubione Absolutely love this gem. Stayed for a night then decided to stay for another. The pitch sizes are very large spotlessly clean with new electric and water supplies. Really great shop on site with some really tasty local produce. Toilets are outdated and could do with a facelift but are clean and the showers are so powerful. You need to be mindful of the hot water though maybe turn cold on first but are definitely the best we’ve used as for pressure. Lots of animals about as it is a working farm and so many nice walks with spectacular views of the mountains. It’s family run and nice that there is the personal feel to this place. We would recommend to others and we will stay here again.

Polubione Absolutely everything. Stayed here many times now as it’s our midway stop to Scotland. As it turns out this visit was hosting an England football match and to say the atmosphere was pure brilliance. The pub who always has wonderful food put on sandwiches free of charge. The site itself never fails great size pitches electric and water. Even since our last visit the grounds have changed again and for the better. Toilets are spotless and well equipped. Great location and the pub is a definite visit. Staff always welcoming and always eager to help.

Polubione Always liked it always very clean and tidy. Great size pitches and very easy to find. Toilets clean and a lovely dog play area so our pup could run free.the food at palominos is always beautiful made and so tasteful (still the best steak my husband’s had so he says) fish and chips was beautiful. Definitely worth booking.

Niepolubione Not sure when it happened since our last visit but you are now charged for electricity through a Qr code and the minimum was 5 pound to which we used 1.45 worth. We were told that when we let it would be refunded but due to terrible signal we left it for an hour per it saying could take up to an hour to catch up. Sadly it didn’t happen and we lost the money that was on the pay per use. Sadly this has put me off a little and probably won’t stay again.

Polubione Loved absolutely everything. The pitch was amazing. The place was amazing. The facilities were amazing. The staff were amazing. We’ve never stayed anywhere where we were actually stayed again for two nights also had a lot to do with not waking up until 12 the next day which we’ve never done. It’s that quiet and peaceful. The Pub is an absolute delight. You have a designated dog walking field which was just perfect for my girl wasn’t a massive site but just enough. The owner was there obviously you can see building work continuing the toilets and showers were absolutely spotless. Lovely hot water toilet toilets were sparkling clean. Very secure entrance and you don’t have to walk Miles to the loo and showers. I live this place and the pub and this will be our stop off place on our way to Scotland in the future. Old school pub with fantastic food. Locals are all super friendly and so welcoming. As for the staff! Exactly as they should be so nice and welcoming amazing place and thank you to the owner for welcoming us. God bless you all

Polubione Absolutely everything. We actually had reservations for the day later but hadn’t realised until after we left but we’re accepted anyway. This site is brand new and you can see. Everything is perfect the toilets even the disabled facilities. Absolutely beautiful place and definitely wants to be kept for adults only. WiFi brilliant and plenty of space between pitches.

Niepolubione Don’t like there was no indication as to where to pitch up. Booked and paid for handstand pitch to be told we were on the grass. Had to go back to the gate to talk to someone. Told to go on another pitch then come back to the gate to tell someone which pitch we were on. Feral kids on bikes riding around the van and shout and barking at our dog resulting in us having to put her in the van. When asking the adult not to allow the children to do this we received foul language. Looked like they were camping long term there. Showers flooded. The mix up in the booking was down to the camp site itself.

Polubione Absolutely loved bed the easy booking. Antony who showed us in was so friendly and showed us how everything worked. We stayed in a hot tub pitch (54) the whole site was very clean as was the toilet block. Wonderfully clean all round.

Niepolubione I understand maintenance needs to be done it was just a shame we picked to stay whilst it was going on. One of the builders had a Rottweiler running around off lead which my husband had to ask him to get hold off it. On our first day stay we went into the bistro to see if we could have a look at the evening menu to see if we wanted to go in the evening for a meal. My husband went to the bar to order a soda water and two lattes and if he could have an evening menu! He was told he could have the soda water but would need to wait at the table for another member of staff to attend to us. After sitting for 20 minutes no one came. We went and paid for the water and complained as we’d not had service even after three other tables had been filled and served. We were offered a complimentary drink which wasn’t what we wanted. All the young man behind the bar said was my bad I thought you wasn’t eating. This seriously needs to be addressed not only lack of duty but customer contact needs more than my bad. WiFi hit and miss!

Polubione Love this location albeit it took us awhile to find it sent us round the houses a bit realised we actually gone in there and turned around and come back out again before going around the block again. I’m finding it absolutely stunning views love the stables spotlessly clean toilets were great Shower block great although the showerhead did come off in my hand must try the Palominos Restaurant food and staff are absolutely amazing. Must book though very quiet.

Od administratora: We are sorry that you didn't enjoy your stay and we realise we can't please everyone, but whilst we actively encourage constructive criticism for points that we can change and improve our site, we feel that your points are not justified. Firstly, you knew our site was next to a main road when you booked, as you were returning your rental motorhome to the dealer across the road from us. If you knew traffic noise would bother you, why didn't you book a site in a quieter location? You also booked the wrong date and then turned up a day late. This wasn't a problem as we had availability and we gave you the choice of pitches so you could have chosen a pitch further away from the road, as it was you who choose a pitch close to the road. The showers have 3kW wall mounted fan heaters. You just have to turn the switch to ON! The toilets have frost protection heating only, as guests often leave the doors open when they've finished. With regard to the dog walking area, unfortunately we do not have control of the weather and it's the middle of winter. When it rains, then this does cause the ground to get wet and the dog exercising area does get muddy in places. We have a sign which warns our guests that this can happen.

Polubione Proximity to motorway and for what we needed to do. Beautiful site and the facilities are very nicely decorated. Clean and tidy and close for loo and showers.

Niepolubione Do not like the fact the toilets and shower rooms were so cold as heating was off and the noise from the busy road kept us awake. We did only book for a night and definitely would not have stayed longer.

Great pitch level and ample run around area for kids and dogs. The little restaurant on site has amazing food and we really wasn’t expecting it. Great price and looked as great as it tasted.

Niepolubione The showers. The floor is pebbled and dirty there is a window that is directly in front of the shower so anyone standing outside or looking out from the house window can see you in the shower. Although the View is stunning the pitch is not level. It’s very windy which obviously can’t be the owners responsibility but definitely too windy to put up a tent or awning. The internet is a no go.
