Lovely welcome to a level and very pleasant peaceful site surrounded by animals. Great facilities good clean shower and toilet. Lovely games room with lots of extras. Washing up and cooking facilities also an added bonus some beautiful wood sculptures over the site . Nice gravel level pitches. Can’t wait to return.

This is probably the best campsite we have ever stayed at. Our 10 year old loved riding the donkey as well as walking the goats, sheep and alpacas. The games room is excellent with table football, table tennis and pool at no additional cost plus lots of other games. There is an oven, microwave, cooker can kettle you can use in the games room which can come in handy. Two of the pitches are fully fenced in, which would be great if you had a dog. All pitches have a picnic bench. The location itself is peaceful with some great wood carvings around the pitches. The owners are very friendly and helpful. The shower facilities are excellent - lovely and warm without a silly button you have to press every 5 seconds.

There is nothing to dislike. The only thing that would make it even better would be wifi.

arrived for northern easter holiday. small and quiet site, good spaced pitches. very friendly staff (Michelle) and excellent amenities; clean, tidy, nice shower. Play room was a great welcome too. weather was typical northern hospitality, but added to the experience for the kids. as the site is on a farm, the kids were introduced to Michelles animals (donation recommended). Well definitely be returning with our kayaks when the weather is warmer.

Rain - but nothing to do with the site.

Excellent facilities. Toilet and shower were impeccable. Games room is incredible with free pool! Liked the fact there was somewhere warm for the kids to socialise despite the heavy rain. Quiet location. Level pitches. Friendly hosts. Washing up facilities were excellent and in the same place as the games room so easy to manage with the family. We were very impressed and hopefully will return when the weather is kind.

Nothing really but just a tip to pack your wellies - it's a rural site and some of the ground to cross over from the pitch to the facilities block was muddy due to the rain. There's also only one shower/toilet per sec so don't leave it to the last minute in case there's someone in there!

Everything. Great facilities, lovely owners and large pitches - some enclosed if you have dogs or small children. Table tennis, books, games & toys in the indoor area - great for rainy days. Loved the Alpacas, donkey & goats. The kids (and big kids), could walk the animals & have a ride on the donkey in the mornings. The kids we came across at the site seemed to just love this.

Power supply a little weak. Wasn’t able to run heater and stove together.
