The site was situated in a very quiet, peaceful location, surrounded by amazing scenery. The owners of the site were very friendly and amazing with the children. What a super experience for the children to be able to meet all their animals and even get to have a ride on the donkey.

Traveled all around Scotland and this is my daughter’s favourite site, she absolutely loved the interaction of the animals and playroom. Michelle was a wonderful host and we loved the super pitch and showers all very clean. We will be back for longer next time. Thank you 😊

The whole concept. Showers/toilets were extremely well cared for and spotless..
The owners couldn’t do enough to show us round and very helpful when it came to us requesting an extra night. We loved the sight the area and would not only return but highly recommend it to anyone

Absolutely amazing stay.
The kids loved having a ride on ray the donkey. Lovely clean site staff very helpful, we will be returning to this amazing little site, we loved it.

We’re back from a three-night stay at Bonners Lodge and can see why it has had such positive reviews. The site itself is in a beautiful remote spot, accessed via an easy to navigate lane off the A-road. A warm welcome awaited to get us onto our pitch, the toilet/shower facilities were immaculate and the family/common/games room a well thought out bonus. Travelling with a three year old, it felt safe to let him explore and there were donkeys, sheep, goats and more for an added spectacle. We ventured to Beamish which was in easy reach, as was the lovely city of Durham. We’ll definitely return in the future and thank you to Michelle, Ken and Paul.

Large plot with additional picnic bench for own use. Showers clean and spacious and shower mat provided as will. Only a few pitches so plenty of room on a quiet site. Way access to walking and cycling routes.
