Absolutely charming site! The owners could not have been more friendly, we were met at the gate and shown to the toilets/showers, kitchen area and games room, then our pitch. My children (6&11) were delighted to find our neighbours were goats, a pony and alpacas! Some lovely other families on site, this is truly a gem of a site and we will definitely return!
Meeting Ray the donkey and having a quick ride was a definite highlight!

Lovely couple, so friendly and helpful. Cater well for families, offering donkey rides, playtime with the goats etc. Very well organized. Lovely toilet and shower block, everything spotless.

Fantastic site, very welcoming, quiet and family friendly. The toilets and showers are warm and clean. The communal room has games, TV and some cooking facilities. The animals are very friendly and well looked after.

Beautiful small site , facilities were great and we loved the animals.Lovely large pitches and quiet location so much to do in the local area and a fantastic welcome from Michelle.
We were only staying one night for a trip to beamish but will definitely try and return with our bikes .

Absolutely beautiful campsite. So peaceful. Amazing for young children. Michelle to owner is absolutely lovely and she brings the animals out on a morning for the children, they had a ride on the donkey and walked the goats, sheep & Alpacas!
The games room was perfect for my older son. My 2 younger children loved playing in the little play area and wandering to see all of the animals. Loved it so much booked back up for 5 nights next week. Toilets were very clean and nice hot shower. Amazing views all around the site. We can’t wait to go back.

Nothing, fantastic site.

Michelle the owner went above and beyond more than ever we broke down she came and got us and loaded our stuff unloaded us and made us feel very special and then even dropped us to pick the car up then broke the down the day and she also picked us up and brought us back to the amazing camp site and in the morning took us back. But one thing I’ve never been to such a amazing camp site like theirs the animals are well loved and you interact with them was lovely to watch the children have free donkey rides and the sheep being walked . Also there is a games room on the site that has everything you ever need to fill your time in when ever . The amount of toys and ride on for the children is unreal to entertain them and the parents can relax even pool table table tennis a tv also use of a kitchen. The showers are spotless clean and constant hot water could not fault this beautiful site and also Paul who is Michelle’s helping hand is such a lovely kind man. I recommend this to anybody the views are breath taking aswell. It was like home from home. Perfect
