Polubione The host! What a guy.
Chose to camp here on a super stormy night and unfortunately the storm started lifting a tin panel from the roof of a structure near to our pitch. He came over concerned and instantly upgraded us to one of the pre pitched canvas tents even though he could have just asked us to move our tent.
The canvas tent was great - really cosy with a double bed, seating area and fairy lights. We had such a comfy nights sleep!
There are a small selection of bbq/fire pits you can use free of charge also, and you can buy wood etc at a really decent price from the host.
I also really love how small of an eco footprint this campsite has too - it’s basic and bare bones but really charming and quirky. Personally that’s why I camp!
The surrounding scenery is beautiful also, and there’s plenty of outdoorsy things to do around the local area.

Polubione I didn’t stop laughing from the minute I arrived to the second I left, a very welcoming visit from the site manager and what a guy he is !! He really didn’t mind ! Nothing was of any bother to him and enjoyed the pleasant conversation 👌

Niepolubione I’d like to suggest to opening up the entrance and moving the gate, just to ease access for larger vehicles. Also a couple signs down the road A148 to locate it would be amazing 👌

Polubione The peace, tranquility and location made this an excellent spot to get away from it all for a few days. We saw deer and many birds of prey which was awesome! The bed in the pre-set up tent was sooo comfortable! Dean couldn’t have been more welcoming or accommodating during our stay which we really appreciated. We loved the laid back vibes and the ethos of what they are working towards here and look forward to coming back.

Polubione Very peaceful staff friendly was a little shop didn't use it so bot sure what there

Niepolubione Entrance to the campsite is concealed and not the best to get off as its a busy road and your turning straight of it into the gate entrance. You have to open a broken gate so it's heavy to lift and open to then have to drive I'm close gate turn around to get up the section you need. Read in previous reviews tickets were basic and eco friendly but could of done with better privacy than shower curtain and are unisex with men and woman being in the same bit together felt like no privacy to go. No drinking water available for us to make drinks up ect was very disappointed about this !

Polubione A field with the ability to have fires and lots of space

Its green and the onsite staff were friendly

Niepolubione The toilets and washing facilities were extremely poor, just as many others have mentioned.

The on-site water was only provided in bottles, which were often empty by the morning.

There’s absolutely no reason an eco toilet should be this unpleasant or uncomfortable.

The entrance and signage were also inadequate, given the road speed its an accident waiting to happen.

I am actually fine roughing it camping but when things provided are this bad they might as well not be there.

Its a field you can camp in not a campsite.

Polubione We saw Kites Buzzards and Kestrels.

Niepolubione The entrance is hard to find. W3W is slightly.boating.dives. Access through the gate was difficult and the track to the camp area would be impassible in a motorhome or car+caravan or a car with low ground clearance. We were disappointed to find there is no access to any public footpaths or hikes from the site. Note there is no water supply on site.

Polubione Stayed here for one night to go to the Milton Keynes bowl for a gig (it's 26min away) in my campervan and was very happy with my stay. They guys were really helpful, booking us taxis even give us a lift. Would stay here again good value for £££

Niepolubione The directions on pitch up doesn't take you straight to the site but Dean from the campsite did come find us and take us there.

Polubione We needed somewhere near to Lutton airport to stay for the night and here was ideal.
It was a lovely peaceful site with basic facilities. (Eco toilet with handwashing)
The two guys at check in were very friendly and helpful and their little dog was really cute! The kids thought it was hilarious when he jumped in our car 😂
The pitch was fairly flat.The campsite was very peaceful and quiet. An ideal location to just get away from it all and relax.

If we ever need to stay in the area again we wouldn't hesitate to return here.

It is very uneven (almost vertical in parts) and the car was scraping along the floor in places.

Polubione The site was very peaceful enjoyed watching the birds of prey while relaxing.

Niepolubione The toilet facilities are terrible it says porta loos but they are not. Essentially they are cubicles with shower curtains pulled across. The actual toilets are camping toilets for caravans you can only do a number one in then the other toilet is a chair with toilet seats and a bag of compost hanging from. No running water so handfasting is done using a bottle of water over a sink.
Then road outside is dangerous to walk along if you have children.
