Cragg Farm Camping Pods

Likte Amazing pod, amazing location - so peaceful and views are outstanding from the pod. The pod is soundproof, you can't hear anything from outside. The pod is provided with everything you need and extra. The location is close enough to the town of Cockermouth and the mountain walks so you don't have to travel miles to get to them, but far enough away that you bothered by the pace of life! Lovely friendly hosts who are hand to help if needed and help you settle in, the welcome pack they provide is brilliant and gives you all the information you could possibly need. Would highly recommend to anyone who wants to stay in the Lake District

Likte We were greeted by Catherine herself. She’s very attentive and also helped us whenever we needed help. She gave us towels upon our request. Also, the weekend we booked was a horrible weather, and she was so nice to offer us other days if we decide not to go. Our group still went on with the trip, and staying in these pods made our trip very unique and comfortable. It’s complete with kitchen accessories which was perfect for our group, because we love cooking. Plenty of space in the fridge too. We loved the underfloor heating specially the weather was really cold! Also, the pod was very clean. We will surely go back, time it when the weather is better 🙂

Likte The pod was super clean, warm and cosy. We loved it. Catherine was so friendly and helpful. It was so quiet and peaceful which we loved and the views are amazing. Very close to Cockermouth which was very useful. Will definitely be coming back.

Likte Pod was very cosy , well equipped ( just need food clothes and towels) . Hist very friendly, it's clear a lot of thought has gone into equipping the pods , by far the nicest pod we've ever stayed in, with only 3 pods on the farm is the perfect peaceful break we needed!

Likte An amazing stay and would absolutely recommend! Pod was great, cozy warm and private. Everything we needed was inside, and the land the pod is located on is gorgeous. Lovely host and lovely farm will definitely be staying here again!

Likte We had a lovely stay at the Cragg Farm Camping Pod near Cockermouth. The pod was cosy, clean and comfortable, making it a great little base for exploring the beautiful Lake District.

The location was peaceful and surrounded by lovely countryside, which made it perfect for getting away from the hustle and bustle and enjoying some quality time outdoors. Everything we needed was there, and the pod had a really welcoming feel.

Catherine, the owner, was really welcoming and such a lovely lady, and she had even put milk in the fridge for a cuppa when we arrived, also hot chocolate, tea, coffee, sugar & biscuits.

It’s also ideally placed for visiting Cockermouth and exploring the surrounding area, with plenty of beautiful walks and attractions nearby.

Overall, we really enjoyed our stay at Cragg Farm and would happily recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful, comfortable and memorable countryside getaway. We’d definitely stay again!

Likte The location of the pods is perfect, with lovely views and a seating area where you can enjoy breakfast in the morning sunshine. Being on a working farm adds a lot of charm — watching the sheep feeding and quietly minding their own business creates a peaceful, authentic atmosphere. The pods themselves were very clean, including all the utensils, which made settling in easy and comfortable. Although the site feels wonderfully remote, you can reach Cockermouth in just a few minutes, and the Lakes, mountains and even the coast are all easily accessible with a short drive. The host was very warm, friendly and welcoming, which made our stay even better.

Likte ikke I don’t really have any dislikes, as everything was exactly what you’d expect from camping pods. My partner mentioned that storage inside the pod is a little limited, but this is understandable — and since you can park right next to the pod, anything extra can easily be kept in the car. I didn’t miss having no Wi‑Fi at all, though it might matter for some guests, so I’m mentioning it here purely so the section isn’t left blank.
