Likte Great site and facilities. This was a return visit to go on the train again with the children. We were in a caravan and friends in a tent - our pitches were far apart. We didn’t use l an wifi as there is 5g signal across the whole site. Good walks to the lakes surrounding the site.

Appreciated that the new owners were looking to spend on the site to develop it.

Likte ikke We were on our way back from the South Coast and called to see if this site would be good for visiting with our four grandkids.
Our designated pitch still had rubbish in the area that the previous occupant hadn't cleaned, so it is clear that the staff didn't check it.
The chemical toilet area was horrendous.
No hose to allow for rinsing out.
The disposal sink was totally inadequate.
Stunk to high heaven.
This whole area needs replacing.
The toilet block had no toilet brushes; my wife and I visited 5-6 cubicles to find a clean toilet with toilet roll.
Suggest a visit to a Caravan and Motorhome site to see how it is done correctly.
Kids weaving in between pitches with bikes and electric scooters.
The camping area had wooden posts and rails to define the area; this would be good for the other areas to stop the cycling between vans.
Allowing kids on the pump cycle track without helmets.
The 10 pm to 8 am noise policy was not enforced.
The occupant on the pitch next to me was in the car, with windows open, playing music at full volume; I had to engage with them to stop it.
We stayed the first night, then left.
We will not be returning.

We’re pleased to hear that you found our team at the main gate and touring area polite and welcoming, and that you recognise the investment being made to develop and improve the park.
We are, however, sorry to hear that several areas of your stay did not meet the standards we expect. Your comments regarding the condition of your pitch, chemical disposal area, toilet facilities and general cleanliness have been noted and will be shared with the relevant park teams.

We would also like to clarify that e-scooters are not permitted on our park. Where our team members observe them being used, guests will be challenged and reminded of our park rules.
We also have low-noise/quiet times in place, which all guests are made aware of. Where excessive noise is observed or reported, our Security Team will speak with the guests concerned and remind them of the expected behaviour.

We genuinely appreciate you taking the time to highlight these areas. Feedback like yours helps us understand where improvements are needed and where we need to do better.
We’re disappointed that you chose to leave after your first night, but thank you for sharing your experience with us.

We’re pleased we were able to accommodate your request for a pitch close to the shower block and that this worked well for you.

We’re sorry, though, to hear about the cleanliness of the toilets and the occasions when toilet roll wasn’t available. That’s certainly not what we want for our guests, and we’ll pass your comments on to the team so we can look at keeping on top of the facilities throughout the day.

We are a cashless park, apart from some of our arcades, which means payments for most shopping, activities and facilities are made by card. We appreciate your feedback

Likte Facilities were clean. There was even a litter picker walking around in the morning! There's plenty to do. Swimming pool was great fun. Nice vibe to the place. It was quiet at night. The site is quite big, but everything is conveniently located. We didn't have time to go on the lake - but we will definitely be back!
