We’re pleased you were able to enjoy a quieter stay with us. Regarding the showers, the water is set to run for a shorter period before needing to be pressed again. This is part of our efforts to reduce unnecessary water usage and be more mindful of the environment.

We appreciate that this may take a little getting used to, but doing our bit to save water and look after our environment really is in our nature.

We’re so pleased you found the pod cosy and enjoyed its beautiful location especially being in such a great spot for a bit of fishing! It’s also wonderful to hear you enjoyed the facilities and found our team friendly and welcoming. Creating those relaxing little getaways really is in our nature!

As for the spiders… we’ll have a word and remind them they weren’t included in the booking!

Mi è piaciuto Great showers and toilet blocks. Used the shop which was sufficient. Clean and tidy site. Didn’t use ‘The Venue’ but I’m sure it’s lots of fun for families. Easy to access from main roads running through Northampton.

Non mi è piaciuto Lots of kids cycling about in the dark with no lights which seemed unsafe as cars and vans were still driving about. Some noise late at night from chavs yelling at their mates. Could do with staff enforcement of good conduct amongst visitors.

We’re really pleased to hear that you found the site clean and tidy, enjoyed the shower and toilet facilities and found our onsite shop handy during your stay. Being easily accessible while still providing somewhere to relax and enjoy a break really is in our nature!

We do appreciate your comments regarding children cycling after dark without lights, and we completely understand your concerns around safety with vehicles moving around the park. We would always encourage everyone to be mindful of other guests and to enjoy the park safely and responsibly.

We’re also sorry that you experienced some late-night noise. We expect all our guests to be respectful of others, particularly during quieter hours, and our team and Security are there to assist when issues are reported.

Hopefully next time you’ll get the chance to pop into The Venue and join in some of the fun too!

Mi è piaciuto Great site and facilities. This was a return visit to go on the train again with the children. We were in a caravan and friends in a tent - our pitches were far apart. We didn’t use l an wifi as there is 5g signal across the whole site. Good walks to the lakes surrounding the site.

Appreciated that the new owners were looking to spend on the site to develop it.

Non mi è piaciuto We were on our way back from the South Coast and called to see if this site would be good for visiting with our four grandkids.
Our designated pitch still had rubbish in the area that the previous occupant hadn't cleaned, so it is clear that the staff didn't check it.
The chemical toilet area was horrendous.
No hose to allow for rinsing out.
The disposal sink was totally inadequate.
Stunk to high heaven.
This whole area needs replacing.
The toilet block had no toilet brushes; my wife and I visited 5-6 cubicles to find a clean toilet with toilet roll.
Suggest a visit to a Caravan and Motorhome site to see how it is done correctly.
Kids weaving in between pitches with bikes and electric scooters.
The camping area had wooden posts and rails to define the area; this would be good for the other areas to stop the cycling between vans.
Allowing kids on the pump cycle track without helmets.
The 10 pm to 8 am noise policy was not enforced.
The occupant on the pitch next to me was in the car, with windows open, playing music at full volume; I had to engage with them to stop it.
We stayed the first night, then left.
We will not be returning.

We’re pleased to hear that you found our team at the main gate and touring area polite and welcoming, and that you recognise the investment being made to develop and improve the park.
We are, however, sorry to hear that several areas of your stay did not meet the standards we expect. Your comments regarding the condition of your pitch, chemical disposal area, toilet facilities and general cleanliness have been noted and will be shared with the relevant park teams.

We would also like to clarify that e-scooters are not permitted on our park. Where our team members observe them being used, guests will be challenged and reminded of our park rules.
We also have low-noise/quiet times in place, which all guests are made aware of. Where excessive noise is observed or reported, our Security Team will speak with the guests concerned and remind them of the expected behaviour.

We genuinely appreciate you taking the time to highlight these areas. Feedback like yours helps us understand where improvements are needed and where we need to do better.
We’re disappointed that you chose to leave after your first night, but thank you for sharing your experience with us.
