Ik was blij met Excellent little site on the Glanusk Estate. Flat pitch with EHU. Facilities excellent. Sauna onsite. Lovely walk along the river bank to Crickhowell. Will come again.

Ik was blij met Close to M6 as we were en route to the south. Fantastic new shower/toilet block. Friendly owner. Well kept small site.

Ik was blij met Stayed at the RC inn for one night. Basic site with facilities. Toilet/shower block could do with a refit but the showers were hot and the block was clean. I paid £18 for EHU which wasn’t a bad price considering the energy prices at the moment. The pub is very nice and they allowed me in a for cooked buffet breakfast in the morning which I don’t think is generally available to the campers. It’s only for the people staying in the pub. I could be wrong but it was a very nice breakfast and the coffee was nice which is a big plus for me. I will use again when in the area.

Ik was niet blij met Not really a dislike but when I arrived to check in none of the staff new what was going on. The owner was offsite and he obviously deals with a the bookings. You would have thought he would have a book with the arrivals and pitch allocations which the staff could use. The pitches in the EHU are not flat so levellers are required.

Ik was niet blij met Not really a dislike but the site is a little bit out of the way for a walk into Bude. Around 4 miles. There is a pub about a 15 minute walk but they only have Calsberg on tap which is a crime against humanity.

Ik was blij met Very nice quiet site with very good toilets and showers. Nice views. Plenty large enough grass pitches for our van and awning. Great for star gazing at night if the sky is clear. Self check in and we had the choice of any pitches that were avaliable. Would use again if in the area.

Ik was niet blij met Not really a dislike but the site is quite some way to any pubs or shops. Top tip is to visit a supermarket in Bodmin or Wadebridge before getting to the site. We also felt that the site owners were not very engaging. They didn't welcome us onsite or ask how our stay was going. Thats not normal for camping in cornwall. Even on the remotest sites we've stayed on the owner has always dropped in at some point to make sure everything was ok. I guess some people just prefer to keep themselves to themsleves. On a positive note we have stayed on sites that have charged a lot more and we got a lot less so thumbs up.

Ik was blij met Peaceful and very relaxed. Basic but clean and well maintained facilities. Level pitches. Owners are very laid back and allowed us to do what we wanted. No rush to get offsite on day of departure. Will definitely use again.

Ik was blij met Excellent little campsite with a nice lake in the grounds. Very scenic location. Nice flat pitch area. Facilities were adequate but no showers as yet. There is a small caravan on site selling beverages, cakes and butties. Quiet and secluded location. Will definitely be going back in the future. Thanks to the owner for letting us pitch up a few hours earlier than we were meant to arrive. Pitchup.com states you can arrive anytime when in fact it’s 1pm check in. Naughty pitchup.com! Go to your room! The site is well located for some good walks and there is a local pub. Seafront is about a 3 mile walk. The lake is good for a bit of SUP.

Ik was niet blij met Not really a dislike but we felt the fire pits were a bit on the high side price wise. We have never paid more than £5.00 and some sites let you use them for free. These were £9.00 and extra for logs. We will probably take our own next time. Saying that though they are quite big and are delivered and collected by the site groundsman as are the logs. For a big gathering it would be worth it.

Ik was blij met Nice big space to pitch up wherever you want. Although I didn’t try it there is a good area around a big fire pit which serves food at the weekends. Seemed to be very popular with families and their young kids. There is one toilet in the barn with wash facilities opposite. The rest of the toilets are portaloos which is fine for a pop up campsite. Nobody around to check me in but people just seemed happy to drive straight to a space and pitch up. Very simple and very basic. Will use again
