Ik was blij met Booked this site really last minute and it was perfect for what I was after. Toilets are great and for a basic site nice that it offers a shower too. The owners were on hand the whole time for any questions and were super friendly. Some pitches have a slight slope but the majority are flat and I had a great stop over here. Would recommend!

Ik was blij met This site was great. Exactly as described. Brilliant location. It has basic facilities, four toilets and drinking water so if you are self sufficient it is perfect. I had a great night staying here and saw the best sunrise of my whole trip!

Ik was blij met I adored this site. It’s exactly as described (only better). Really excellent eco facilities. Toilets were perfect and although there is no shower there is a privacy unit you can use if you have your own portable one. Easy to pitch up. Gorgeous sunset and sunrise. Perfect!

Ik was blij met Really well maintained site. Facilities were really clean and plenty of them for the size of the site. Great walk over the fields to their sister pub.

Ik was blij met Great views. Really friendly staff. Clean, basic facilities. Great access to walks straight from the site. Excellent pubs in walking distance. Loved it.

Ik was blij met This was a great little site. Really friendly owners and convenient to get up to the Roaches for a run (which is what I was there for). Toilets and washing up facilities exactly as described. Views were great and the horses and fouls were adorable.

Ik was blij met I loved this site. Stunning location. Lovely and quiet, a couple of other campers whilst I was there. No toilets or showers adds to its charm. Just you and the views (and the cows in the next field). So convenient for the Tissington and High Peak Trails too. I had good phone signal and 4G too (EE). I would definitely stay again. A proper chance to switch off 😊

Ik was blij met Really easy site. A field just out the back of the pub. Drive in, set up, all good. Unfortunately the pub had stopped serving food by the time we got there on Sunday around 6pm, but we just made some beans on toast in the van and it was no big deal! There’s a loo and showers on site if you need them. Great place for a stop over 😊

Ik was blij met Great location near to the sea and also the West Lakes. We based ourselves here to climb Scafell Pike and it was a perfect distance, about 30 mins away from the car park at Wasdale. Great site. Good sized pitches. Showers were lovely and hot! The guys running the site were lovely too, really helpful and always about if there were any questions.

Ik was blij met Absolutely lovely site. A few pitches well spaced out. Lovely facilities, the showers are in a wooden hut and they are warm and spotlessly clean, we got home a few days ago and both said after showering in our own house we missed the showers on this site! Lovely location, easy access to the North Lakes. Communication was great too. Simply a lovely site and we would definitely visit again. We were in a camper van and the pitch was perfect, nice and level and ample space. Can't rate it highly enough to be honest!

Ik was blij met Absolutely brilliant location. Great views. Lovely walks all round and about 15 mins into Sedbergh with great cafes, pubs and bookshops. It is a basic site, a couple of fields with no marked out pitches which suited us down to the ground, pick a spot and pitch up. If you like lots of facilities on site this is not the place for you. If you like chatting to the cows and sheep before you drop off check them out :-)
