Ik was niet zo blij met: Pitch was not very good as it slanted down where we put the awning up. The first pitch they gave us was no good but the second pitch was ok.
When we arrived, though we had free Wi-Fi, due to having a touring caravan, we had to pay and it was expensive, so we didn't bother. Never seen a member of staff as it was all mobile contact.

Love how there are so many little play areas in each section, ensuring each isn’t overcrowded.Ik was niet zo blij met: Our only gripe this year was the fact that there was no notice to let us know that the pool was closed for lessons on Thursday afternoon. By the time we found out it was too late to arrange anything else ie go for day out but it meant the kids just had another play on the beach ( not a hardship).
Oh and the service when we went down for a meal on the Thursday evening was really very disappointingly slow .
Glad to hear you enjoyed your stay and that your accommodation was spotless. Our pool is used for local swimming sessions during term times on a Thursday from 3pm till 7pm , when using the ahpevents website to pre book the pool it would indicate that spaces were blocked off during these times so sorry if this upset your plans.

Ik was niet zo blij met: The place is full of Rabbits, which does not help if you want to sit down on the grass outside or if you had small children to play on the grass the Rabbits POO all over the place the hygiene for them ( small children could think little balls of sweets) also the toilet roll position in the bathrooms questionable as it was directly behind you awkward to reach when sitting down, not suitable for older person, maybe pest control for the Rabbits would be a idea as outside camper like a litter tray, sites ground were unlevel, they could do with a little attention,

I have passed your comments to maintenance regarding the toilet roll holders in the bathrooms and they will look at this.
We ask that if people are unhappy with their pitch that they speak to us on arrival and we will always try our best to accommodate you elsewhere on the park.
Our rabbits on the site are loved by some and not by others, as they are wild animals and our site is in the glorious countryside of Dumfries and Galloway we have to accept and share our space with our furry friends.

Ik was niet zo blij met: Standard caravan has no towels. Lovely caravan but could do with a few more bits added. No entertainment in the week so kids were bored went into arcades instead. Takeaway was lovely. Restaraunt not so good. Had to buy Wi-Fi in standard
Thanks for your feedback our holidays are self catering and do require you to bring your own towels/tea towels which is advised in your emails prior to arrival. Towels can be rented if you have forgotten to bring them with you.
Standard caravans are our basic model but higher grades of caravans are available.
WIFI is payable when in your caravan but is free when in the bars/restaurants or complex.
sorry to hear that your 1st pitch wasn't suitable but glad that our staff were able to offer a suitable alternative, WIFI is free to all guests in the complex but is payable at your pitch and we do send information about this by email prior to your arrival.
Staff are always available to speak to in reception even though our check in process is contactless. Glad that you enjoyed the peace and quiet and the views from the park.
