Stunning location , great shop , great for kids , good swimming pool , good food nice football pitch , and little parks dotted all over to play in . Stunning secluded bay esp at dusk

Some pitches uneven/sloping , it’s on a hillside so I’d say if you have issues walking it could be a problem

Fantastic site superb facilities and clean. Spacious and level pitches. Lovely shell beach. Staff friendly and helpful.

Could be improved by having more showers and toilets on the touring side of the site but not a show stopper

Clean park, with plenty to do for the kids

Avoid this park if you value sleep. Trucks running past thr tent pitches all night, even blaring their horns to deliberately wake people (not necessary as no way you can sleep from the noise of the trucks). The road is immediately beside the tent pitches.
Dogs allowed but unfortunately some owners don't follow the keep on lead rule, this resulted in one of us being bitten by a dog which was allowed to run loose.
Won't return to this site.

I am presuming that the massive rookery was there before a campsite was developed around it?
If you are in a tent on the terrace opposite it, as I was, the noise was absolutely deafening - & I am a bird lover. Of course the rooks are particularly active at this time of the year, but I think however difficult it may be commercially, you should inform customers of this. After all, you mention the noisy road yet the rooks are far more problematic. With reference to the road, even though I was given a pitch away from it, at around 4 in the morning when the huge trucks were making their way to the ferry, the noise was still more than enough to wake me up again (having finally got to sleep when the roooks finally quietened down at 3 am.) I was taking part in an international Gravel cycling race at Gatehouse on the Saturday, and in an attempt to get a decent nights sleep, I actually slept in my van at the car park in Gatehouse rather than spend another sleepless night on the campsite
I am sure it is much better in a caravan, motor home, pod or chalet, but I could not recommend this site to anyone with a tent.
Another important point is, that with a natural biosphere established just up the road close to Gatehouse of Fleet, I was amazed to find that every scrap of grass is mown or strimmed to within an inch of its life. There was a long, quite steep, low bank under the fence above my camping area, which when I arrived was studded with wildflowers. Two days later it was strimmed to the ground. Why? It would also be very easy for the area between my camping area, and that fence to be allowed to grow into a wildflower meadow by inaugurating the appropriate mowing regime, instead of being a closely mown, sterile area that supports virtually no wildlife.

Clean resort and restrooms. Attractions in the area very positive.

A big minus for a place for a campsite. Too close to the highway , very noisy .

Mobile home very clean, great double shower. Couple of small issues, no signal on TV and shower not draining. Phoned reception, who were very courteous, problem dealt with within 10 minutes, so excellent service. The site has a lovely little bay and only minutes in car to a large beach at mossyard. The shop on site stores all you need for your holiday, prices are good and gentleman in shop very friendly.
Lots of little bunnies running around which is lovely to see. It is a very clean and we'll kept site. Will definitely be back.

Couple of minor points I would like to see improved, mobile home was a standard model. I really missed not having a coffee table, nowhere to put your drink if sitting on couch.
The decking is great but sadly no chairs provided to sit outside. Even a couple of cheap plastic chairs would be great. I know these items are provided in the more luxury mobiles but false economy if people are putting drinks on carpet(spills) or bringing dining chairs out to the decking(damage)

Entertainment was great kids loved it such an amazing park with lots to do
