Torrent Walk Campsite and Bunkhouse

Ik was blij met The views were great for our pitch. Good location for the event we completed and staff advised us on a good walk just off the site.

Ik was niet blij met Toilets were blocked, they got my booking wrong and didn’t have me done as electrical set up etc.
I found 1 staff member a bit rude taking a phone call on headset while talking to me.

Van de manager: We are sorry to hear about that, mistakes do happen, staff member will be scolded about that, as per the toilets we advise to tell us if something is wrong so we can fix it, we check the toilets regularly but if something happens in the meantime and no one tells us, we cannot fix it!

In the future we will look into having some toilets there, but it will be a bit hard as the infrastructure does not allow that.

Ik was blij met No nonsense booking through Pitchup, someone on site to show me the way to my pitch, despite the late hour. Price was fair, pitch size was more than enough for me and the facilities ticked most boxes.

Ik was blij met Location, self check in, great for Torrent walk.

Ik was niet blij met Tents mixed with campervans, We prefer separate areas as we had large vehicles around us......toilets blocked, shower cabins like sweat boxes and shower rails rusty.

Van de manager: Thank you for taking the time to review us, we apologise about the toilets being blocked but we do urge you to tell us if you notice that so we can go and unblock them, we check the toilets at least 4 times per day but if in that time something happens, it is advisable to let us know so we can fix it!
Not sure what do you mean by showers like sweat boxes, shower rails we are actively looking for a solution from keeping them to rust as it is a damp area and metal rusts!

Ik was blij met View from campsite.

Ik was niet blij met Run down shelters with a few dilapidated chairs , drop toilet didn’t bother trying to find showers. Other campers dogs barking at all the time.

Van de manager: Hi there, thank you for taking the time to review us, i am not sure what shelters you are mentioning, we do not have shelters or chairs on the campsite, only whatever the campers bring with them, toilets and showers are more than obvious, in the middle of the campsite with plenty of signs to point to them, and we are sorry about other camper's barking dogs, we are a dog friendly campsite!!!

Ik was blij met Amazing location with so much to explore near by. From cozy welsh towns to a variety of walks fit for all ages. The Campsite accommodates for all your camping needs with clean toilets and warm showers that are plentiful. For those who love quite , sleeping won't be a problem as the area is not near any main roads , the noisiest neighbours are the owls which was a pleasure to listen too , really sets the scene for where your staying. Finally all staff working on camp were kind and always happy to help. Highly recommend to anyone who loves the outdoors. Till next time Torrent Walk :).

Ik was blij met Attractive and tidy site with good facilities. Only stayed one night but would definitely stay again.

Ik was niet blij met Some pitches are near the busy road but it was quiet overnight.

Ik was blij met The site is tidy and well kept, we have stayed here in a tent around 13 years ago, it's changed alot for the better since then. Lovely to see the horses and the geese and goslings.

There's an ESSO garage at the top of the narrow road on the main A road plus a Starbucks
