Cwmffrwd Farm Campsite

Ik was blij met Couldn't have asked for more. Pridie was the most welcoming host ever, met us on arrival, took our stuff and my mother to the tebt and gave a lot of useful information.

The place itself was exactly what we're looking for from Welsh countryside. So quiet and peaceful and absolutely stunning views.

Thank you for your hospitality (Sorry the boys weren't the greatest of shepherd's haha)

Great location with lovely scenery - watch out for dragon's breath in the morning!

Ik was blij met Really lovely location in the hills, Pridie was a friendly and kind host. Felt back to nature. Nice to have space around the pitches so felt more open. Great base to walk from. Has all the space and facilities you need for a short break away. Shame we missed the sauna Saturday!

Ik was blij met I absolutely loved my stay ✨ it was everything I could have hoped for and more. I was at the foot of the Black Mountains with great walks. The facilities were great and hosts were very friendly and helpful. Will definitely go back.

Ik was blij met Isolation.

Ik was niet blij met the tent pitches have a 5~7 degree pitch/roll. makes doing anything weird and tiresome. Found out later on that the west (downhill) pitches have that problem, not the east (uphill) ones.

How strange that you found you had a slope on your tent pitch? All our upper meadow tent pitches have been professionally levelled and are beautifully flat?
Perhaps you mean the slight slope up the meadows as you walk to your pitch to be rewarded with the beautiful views?

Some of our lower meadow van pitches have a slight incline on them but that's why we recommend van campers bring their levellers. I think you mention in your comment that these are actually the pitches you are referring to?

Unable To park next To the tent, although appreciate reasons for this, it’s something we would always look for, quite a bit of noise from the hay loft,
Just felt the facilities were a little basic from what we are used too at other locations previously. But if you like it basic in a stunning location; this is for you

Yes, we keep things very simple here - three compost toilets, one flushing toilet and one electric shower. No big facility blocks, club houses or playpark, just acres of space to play in safely as we don't have vehicles drive on the meadows.

The Hayloft is located away from the camping area, in the main farm yard, so on still nights guests chatting at their picnic table and BBQ can be heard when you are in the washroom. We ask all guests to quieten down at half term though, just like in the campsite - peace and quiet is definitely the order of the day!

Ik was blij met Lovely campsite where the kids can get back to nature. Spent the time looking for grasshoppers and watching Red Kites. Perfect end of summer trip.
