An immaculately maintained site within easy reach of forest, dale and canalside walks, hikes and bike rides… sound rather tempting? Take yourself along to splendid little Bridge Holme Caravan Site for Lancashire – and Yorkshire – adventures in all the above plus a whole heap more. 'Beautiful', 'immaculate', 'lovely' and 'fantastic' are just a few (a very few) of the chuffed comments from former guests at this peaceful farm site among the Pennine Hills, where there's a friendly and relaxed vibe as well as a mighty helpful team. It's a spacious and grassy site, surrounded by historic towns and villages, cities, and protected woodlands, moorlands and open countryside. Bridge Holme is nicely secluded but within easy reach of pretty much everything that might tickle your fancy: it's around 10 minutes' walk from bars, restaurants and shops in the market town of Barnoldswick; several Pennine cycle and bridleway routes also pass through the town, and miles of walking countryside are in the town surrounds. The site is also only five minutes' walk from the Leeds to Liverpool Canal, which runs all the way to Skipton and its tearooms, pubs and big Saturday market. The mountain biking trails of Gisburn Forest are a short drive away, and there are more outdoor options for hiking, mountain biking and climbing in the Yorkshire Dales National Park, around 10 miles away. Pitches are set in a level and mown one-acre field, with views over green countryside (and of the resident goats). The spotless amenities include toilets, chemical disposal, and hot showers for an additional fee (please note that the toilet and shower block is closed from November to March). A play park is adjacent to the site.

Rustige, goed onderhouden boerderijcamping met ruime plekken en behulpzame eigenaar. Prachtige landelijke omgeving, dichtbij Barnoldswick en voorzieningen. Schone, zij het basic, faciliteiten (douches tegen betaling). Geen wifi.

Ik was blij met Lovely site, spacious pitches, owner of the site lovely and kept the site and amenities spotless. Basic campsite but everything you needed. Working farm we were next to the llamas. Within easy walking distance to the town. Will definitely stay again.

Ik was blij met Warm welcome on our arrival by Christine she gave us all the information we needed on handy leaflet , directions into town etc.
We booked a hard standing pitch 3 with electric, pitch was a very good size and level.
The site was lovely and peaceful the added farm animals was lovely too.
Although there was limited amenities this didn't affect us what so ever.

Ik was blij met Nice little campsite site with clean toilets and shower. Owner greated us upon arrival. Some pitches weren't massive but adequate for camper vans etc. It is a working farm so the cows did wake us at 5.30 am on the first night there so be aware if your a light sleeper. Phone signal on EE was good and could receive some TV channels via the aerial.
Its a good drive in to the site and I have a 8ft wide twin axle caravan just follow the signs from the town centre and do not go in the other way as you will damage your caravan but it does tell you this on their website. Skipton town centre is brilliant and well worth a visit.

Ik was niet blij met The only thing that did bug me was the constant motor humming noise from the water treatment plant which was quite noticeable at night but don't let this put you off.

Ik was niet blij met If full it would be very cramped.. as the hard standing pitches are very close to one another in the centre...
Plus no disabled toilet or shower

Ik was blij met Welcoming & friendly host.Very well kept & attractive small site. Spacious pitches. Alpacas, Shetland pony, calves, horse in fields which added to the quiet calm of the site. Lovely park & canal walks very close by & easy walk into Barnoldswick. Excellent little cafe along canal path. Will definitely be returning!

Please follow these instructions and do not enter Greenberfield Lane from Skipton Road. Enter Greenberfield Lane from the B6251, and you will see signposts for the football/cricket field. After the housing estate, bear right and go over the hill. Bear left back onto Greenberfield Lane, where the site is about 100 yards away on the right-hand side. Please enter through the gate and follow the track around to the left. If the owner doesn't see you arrive, please call their number.

Local town Barnoldswick is fably placed for Lancashire and Yorkshire adventures, as it's close to the Yorkshire Dales, the Forest of Bowland, the Leeds to Liverpool Canal, and enough hiking/biking paths to keep one occupied for weeks. The town's on the lower slopes of Weets Hill; for a scenic hike, make your way south of Barnoldswick to Letcliff Country Park and the start of a six and a half mile walk over the local limestone plateau. If you seek even headier times, cross over the Lancashire border to reach the Yorkshire Dales, where the intrepid can tackle the limestone cliffs of Kilnsey, Malham Cove and Gordale Scar within 30 to 40 minutes of Bridge Holme. Slightly less actively, the mountain bike trails around Gisburn Forest (in the Forest of Bowland Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty) are 35 minutes' drive away. Ready now for more sedate pursuits? The shopping centre and castle of Clitheroe are within 25 minutes' drive and Saltaire and Salt Mill within 40. Further afield, Leeds is an hour and 10 minutes away and York an hour and a half.
