Ik was blij met We had such a wonderful stay in this beautifully converted horsebox glamping accommodation. It had absolutely everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing break. The kitchen was exceptionally well equipped, with a cooker, combi microwave with an air fryer, plenty of dishes, cutlery, glasses, and cups, making self-catering so easy.

Inside, there was a comfortable bed, a cosy sofa, a fireplace, a TV, USB charging ports, reliable Wi-Fi, and even a shower and toilet—everything was thoughtfully designed and spotlessly presented. We were also welcomed with fresh milk, juice, and a great selection of teas and coffee, which was such a lovely touch.

We stayed with our dog, and it was truly dog-friendly. There was plenty of space for him to run around and stretch his legs, and the owners had even left bowls and a ball for him, which we really appreciated.

One of the highlights of our stay was meeting and feeding the beautiful peacock—it made the experience even more special! Outside, there were comfortable seating areas, a coffee table, a grill, and a portable fire pit, perfect for relaxing in the evenings and enjoying the peaceful surroundings.

The owners have clearly put a lot of thought into creating a welcoming and memorable place to stay. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit, would happily stay here again, and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a unique and cosy glamping experience.

Ik was blij met This is a lovely quiet wild campsite, we loved staying here. We got a great comprehensive message from the owner before arrival and the wifi was an extra treat considering it’s a wild campsite. We could also get phone signal in the car park which was great. We stayed as a couple however there were lots of families so I would recommend a stay to both. So close to Newcastle and the metrocentre but it feels completely out of the way. We will definitely be back!

Ik was blij met Very secure and great for the kids as there are a few animals there and lots of fields to explore. Thank you to the lady who owns the place for helping me with my car too when the kids flattened my battery 🙂. Even though the toilets are basic it was very clean and well maintained. A great night all round

Ik was blij met Just had a lovely time here. Great for basic camping, portaloo was clean. Kids loved it and will be visiting again. Met Louise the host, who gave us some fresh eggs 😊 and her 2 lovely daughters and some of the dogs who were very well behaved.
