Willowbeck Farm

Ik was blij met We absolutely loved our stay at Willowbeck. It’s very peaceful and the fully serviced pitches made life so easy for our 5 night stay. As motorhome owners we don’t need toilet or shower facilities and the adult only restriction was the icing on the cake.

We chose the site because we wanted to do some cycling in the area and couldn’t have been happier with our choice. The pub up the road serves decent food and the whole area is stunning.

Mick is a delightful host and takes great pride in the site. We will definitely return soon (especially if he can organise the perfect weather again for us).

Ik was niet blij met A good place overall, but adding toilet and shower facilities would make it much more suitable for longer stays. As it stands, it’s best for just one night.

Pitchup do say they make it clear (we have no ability to write their descriptions) that we do not offer wc/shower facilities and maybe this is something you can take up with them?

We have guests who stay in their self contained caravans, motorhomes and campervans quite happily for in excess of two weeks and with respect their length of stay with us is for the individual guest to chose their length of stay with us according to their needs!

Ik was blij met We enjoyed our stay last time, that is why we booked it again.

Ik was niet blij met Rang to see if we could change the dates as i ended up in hospital, we rang on Wednesday before we was due to go on the Friday , he said we could not swop and got no refund, we lost £90 pound.

Van de manager: Thank you for acknowledging first and foremost how great the site is.

However, given Pitchup are absolute sticklers that sites are required to strictly enforce and reflect a sites advertised terms and conditions we operate exactly on that basis or otherwise we risk suspension!

We get very little in the way of support from Pitchup so this is unfortunately a reflection of our reluctance to depart from our advertised terms as we just don’t want the hassle that can be caused (obviously in this case dammed if we do and dammed if we don’t….)

I guess choosing direct booking is sometimes the better option 🤔

Ik was blij met Perfect stay and lovely site manager/owner. Nice and quiet quiet with lovely views! The plough does do great fish and chips which was recommended also!

We could only stay for 2 nights as we
had to return home to attend a funeral.
No offer for the night we could not stay
The site was not full only 2 units there.

We are. NOT physic and you failed to actually tell us you were leaving a day early for a funeral.!!!

The manager these days having little in the way of filters left for dealing with guests such as this and whose hero is Victor Meldrew should probably think twice before booking if they are of the opinion their stupid and misleading comments won’t be challenged and answered frankly…!

Ik was blij met Great site, moved to hardstanding pitch on arrival by owner which was offered at no additional cost.
The enclosed dog field was an absolute gem for our 18mth labrador!!
Beautiful surroundings and a short walk to the local pub.
Very quiet, peaceful and well kept site.

Ik was blij met Pretty site with excellent hard pitches serviced with everything you need for a motorhome. Lovely dog field with lots of places to sniff and run. Gorgeous views, lots of wildlife, very relaxing. Lovely pub 5 mins walk.
Friendly owners who were very happy to quickly sort out that we'd booked the wrong type of pitch, very responsive on email.
