Ik was blij met Absolutely great host, the pitches are anlways incredibly well kept and the pub around the corner is exactly what’s needed after a day of walking.

Ik was blij met We had a lovely, spacious, level hardstanding pitch with water and grey waste as well as electric.
It's obvious that a lot of care and hard work has gone into the site since we last visited a few years ago, the flower beds and planters were beautiful. Great that it's Adult only too.

Ik was blij met Beautiful site, stunning scenery, lovely garden areas, well kept bin and waste water area.

Dog field was amazing, large and safe, lovely bench to rest on.

The “grumpy site manager” was so nice, very accommodating even when I accidentally outstayed my welcome haha!

1 min walk from an excellent pub with great fish and chips.

Ik was blij met This site is lovely. It is so well maintained and worked really well for us. It’s a small, quiet site but it’s so well looked after and immaculate, I loved it. We have stayed on many farms but this was honestly the best. There aren’t any shower facilities but we had shower in the Motorhome so wasnt a problem. The views are wonderful and a dog field on site was great. Take supplies if you don’t want to uproot once pitched as there wasn’t anything around apart from the pub which was great to visit a few times and just a few minutes walk. If you are looking for a chilled break on a great site then I can’t recommend enough 👍😁

Ik was blij met A very warm welcome on arrival lovely views a good base for visiting local towns and villages and walkers, Pub just round the corner serving good food advice you to book a table at busy times.

Ik was blij met Fantastic site, next to a fantastic pub, lovely and quiet site, with some great bike rides in the area, would definitely stay there again.

Ik was niet blij met We arrived a little early, was dismissed with no advice where we could park up.
Found a lay-by opposite the site, went walking, on return found our booking had been cancelled! Went on to Horton in Ribblesdale made very welcome.
Haven’t received a refund!

Van de manager: Now let’s have a more truthful version of events shall we…..!

Booking terms: arrivals from 1.30pm NOT as in your case, 2 hours earlier…..

Then when you are politely informed that this two hours prior to arrivals is being spent mowing grass and strimming around ALL pitches to ensure we have the site looking as best as possible and that to avoid any risk of damage being caused on such a small site as we have, there is nowhere to actually park a large motorhome…

Your booking was not cancelled…rather, after our closing time for arrivals, you were noted as a no show….(have now concluded you flounced off in a fit of pique 🤔)

Anyone reading our reviews will see I’m generally quite an amenable chap with a “no nonsense” attitude who doesn’t respond well to entitled and pushy demands for 2 hour early access, followed by keyboard warrior misleading nonsense revenge reviews!

What your review will do is demonstrate to guests we operate a pretty fair and well run tiny site to ensure that stays are always as enjoyable as possible.

Ik was niet blij met metal bins that clank, when people empty there rubbish at night or early in the morning.
the pub not being open on a Monday (its a Yorkshire thing)
