Off to the Yorkshire Dales to delve down into caves or to venture up into the Yorkshire Three Peaks? Whether it’s caverns, waterfall trails or the mountains that have drawn you to this area, Falls Park makes a quiet and spacious dog-friendly base in a handy spot a mile from Ingleton and 10 minutes’ drive away from White Scar Cave and 20 minutes from Kirkby Lonsdale (a historic market town with the medieval Devil’s Bridge). From here you’ll be off to see waterfalls in no time, as the site has access to the nearly five-mile Ingleton Waterfalls Trail, a long-established and popular trail that's all about the sublime scenery. Please note that access to the Waterfalls Trail is an additional cost for customers. On top of that, the site itself has views of a limestone valley and Ingleborough, one of the Yorkshire Three Peaks and a prime spot for a challenging hike between the summits. Peaceful’s the vibe here, as that’s how the site has been planned and designed, so you’ll be all ready to unwind with the scenic Yorkshire Dales landscape surrounding you. Facilities include a chemical toilet disposal point, drinking water points, washing-up room, wifi and an amenities block with a male, female and disabled toilet and shower. With Ingleton village within walking distance (an hour and 10 minutes’ walk away or 10 minutes’ drive), powering up before your next outing is easily done, thanks to its food shops, restaurants, tearooms and pubs. Please note there is a steep single-track road to access the site, which is very narrow. Whilst there are occasional passing places on the lane, this site is only suitable for campervans and motorhomes.

  • Minderjarigen (18-) dienen te worden vergezeld door een ouder en/of officiële voogd.
  • Op deze camping zijn hondenrassen/kruisingen die in de 'lijst met hoog-risico honden op agressief gedrag' zijn opgenomen, niet toegestaan. Denk aan de pitbullterriër en tosa, Argentijnse dog en fila brasileiro.
  • Groepsreserveringen voor 6 volwassenen of meer zijn niet toegestaan (met uitzondering van koppels en directe familieleden).
  • Het reserveren voor vrijgezellenfeesten is niet toegestaan via Pitchup.com.
  • Voertuigen met tandemas zijn niet toegestaan op deze camping.
  • Auto's/motoren zijn niet toegestaan op de staplaats/bij de accommodatie. Deze moeten worden geparkeerd op de daarvoor bestemde plekken.
  • Commerciële voertuigen (voertuigen die gebruikt worden voor werk en/of het vervoeren van goederen of betalende passagiers) en voertuigen met reclameboodschappen zijn verboden op het terrein.
  • Minstens één lid van het gezelschap dient 18 of ouder te zijn.
  • Onderkomens die langer zijn dan 8m meter, zijn niet toegestaan.
  • Dit is een rustige plek: muziek is strikt verboden.
  • Het wordt gasten geadviseerd om een zaklantaarn van goede kwaliteit mee te nemen, omdat delen van het terrein onverlicht zijn.
  • Indien de receptie bij aankomst gesloten is: neem contact op met het nummer dat in de reserveringsbevestiging vermeld staat.
  • Bij droog, winderig en/of heet weer zijn vuren, barbecues en vuurkorven niet toegestaan.
  • Het opladen van elektrische voertuigen is niet toegestaan op het terrein.
  • The key fob deposit required on arrival can only be paid in cash. Roof tents must be booked onto a campervan pitch.

Ik was blij met Lovely location, limited number of pitches ensured peace and quiet, immaculate toilets and showers and very helpful friendly staff.

Ik was niet blij met No onsite recycling facilities for glass, cans etc.

Ik was blij met Lovely campsite with beautiful views. Even outside of normal check-in hours there was a courteous text informing of arrival procedure. Most friendly and helpful hosts who are jolly and obviously love their camp-site.
The ablution blocks are key-fob access only (£20 fully refundable deposit), which is great and they are clean, spacious, well planned and fairly quiet. I also had phone reception, which is lacking in other area like Ribblesdale viaduct.
I was part of a group who were all staying in other locations in the area, but staying on my own on a tent pitch there was peaceful and a wholesome experience.
Just a pity then hosts could not have done a sun-dance for our Y3P effort in mostly horizontal rain!
Would highly recommend and thank you Falls Park for a lovely couple of nights :-)

Ik was blij met The views are amazing and the facilities are modern and clean, the staff are friendly, smily and always happy to help. We did the Ingleton walk also which was stunning. Would definitely stay there again.

Ik was blij met This was our first time at Falls Park but won't be our last! It is a real gem of a site with stunning 360 degree views of the hills and countryside, large pitches, excellent facilities and friendly staff. There's direct access to Ingleton falls a few short minutes walk from the campsite. Thankfully we were there during a hot weekend which made it even more enjoyable.

Ik was niet blij met Yes the road to the park is tricky but we never encountered another vehicle when we came from Ingleton and the other way does have lots of passing points.

40min walk into Ingleton

Ik was niet blij met As mentioned before (nothing to do with site) the road in, its narrow and I mean narrow, Single track …. We were lucky enough not to meet any other cars (phew!)

Very nice stay, would go again. I definitely recommend!

Ik was blij met Allocated pitches meant we had plenty of spaces around us.

The facilities were very clean and in very good conditions.

The views were great and loved that the Ingleton waterfalls trail was a stone throw away. We could hear the waterfalls at night and it was so peaceful.

The staff were kind, friendly and helpful.

Ik was niet blij met Only dislike is that you could hear the noise from nearby construction site.

Would also like to have the option of having a camp fire.

Will come back and recommend.

So where should you set your compass to first? There are impressive scenes all around, from guided tours around the longest show cave in Britain, White Scar Cave (10 minutes’ drive) to the mighty 104-foot-high Ribblehead Viaduct (15 minutes) with its 24 arches towering over the moorlands. The threads of nature run strong here too and that’s evident from Gisburn Forest (40 minutes), where walking, cycling and mountain biking trails are just some of the ways to snake through the treetops and spy on skulking wildlife. There’s a nature trail over at Ingleborough Cave (20 minutes) too – but of course cave walks are where the action’s really at. Up towards the sky instead, the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge (half an hour) might already be the quest you have in mind, but if not, perhaps you’ll want to give the 24-mile route over Ingleborough, Whernside and Pen-y-ghent a go while you’re here. For an easier day out, take a hike around Malham Cove (40 minutes) or stroll around Skipton (45 minutes), a market town with lots of places to eat, as well as a traditional town hall, castle, museum and gallery.
