Halesworth Holiday Park

Ik was blij met A lovely pub next door with lovely staff. We liked Halesworth which was walking distance

Ik was niet blij met No greeting or instructions for arrival so we just pitched up. Site looks nothing like in the photos (shame). Every bin overflowing & we're never emptied during our stay. Chemical waste had no running water. Overgrown & unkept pitches. Strong septic tank smell.nwar shower block.

Ik was niet blij met The pictures on your site make it look lovely, but it really wasn’t at all.
We waited as requested on arrival and the greeting wasn’t very professional, all the bins were overflowing, the walk to the toilets was full of old washing machines.
There was a very unpleasant smell around the toilets ,which although clean weren’t the best.
The area has definitely seen better days I’m afraid , we stayed afew years ago and it was a lovely site but is now full of static vans which means the walk to the loos in the dark is a very long one.
More lighting would be helpful and a tidy up might improve it slightly , even the dog pooh bin was full and overflowing , we left after the first night as we didn’t feel very comfortable at all .
When we booked we were told no gazebos or pup tents but there was a van there with a huge area of tents etc round it.
The grass was very long and we couldn’t park on it as vehicles were driving over it , there were a lot of tyre tracks across the pitches

Ik was blij met Great site, very laid back with nice clean shower and toilet block. Staff were very helpful and friendly. The pitches are a good size and water taps are close by. We had a great 3 night stay

Ik was niet blij met Drove 46 Miles for them to have double booked got refunded but be time we got there all other sites shut as bank holiday

Ik was niet blij met We arrived pulled in behind the pub. The place was full with static caravans , trucks etc. No reception no one to greet. I called lady said fo past which clearly was people living there and park up anywhere in the carpark.
It was shocking we just pulled around and drove right back out.
I wish I had taken photos .nothing like the photos on site

Ik was blij met The owner was very accommodating and friendly, gave me a lot of help as my partner had a broken leg so him and his daughter helped us.

Ik was niet blij met No receptionist or electric for a few hours but got rectified

Ik was blij met Very helpful person guiding us to a pitch despite overlooking issues

Ik was niet blij met Pitches for EHU overbooked, luckily I wasn't too bothered as only an overnight stay

Ik was blij met Turned up Friday evening to a warm welcome and pointed out to our pitch and given some bags for the rubbish The site is clean and tidy all facilities you require WC/Shower are clean phone signal can be hit and miss site was quiet even being full
Good luck to new owners running the site

We used to pub too which is dog friendly and run by a lovely couple who have taken over when I asked about food it was explained at present only do food on a Sunday but luckily for us the darts team where playing and we was welcomed to have some loaded fries that was made for them it was delicious

Ik was niet blij met Mens shower block needs another toilet and shower ones not enough and some more gravel needs putting down for driveway and pitches the gravel now has a lot of glass and plastic mixed into it looks it's had tip ground fill poured into it then a bit of gravel thrown on top.
