Ik was blij met: we have stayed at the cottage a few times over the years. Its very spacious, clean and has all the kitchen accessories the area is very peaceful, ideal for relaxation and family get togethers owners & staff are very friendly

Ik was blij met: Perfect for what we were wanted. Small site of 6 pitches in a small field. Electric power point and water tap. Basic toilet and shower block. Owners were friendly and welcoming. Would definitely book again!

Van de manager: We are so pleased you enjoyed yourselves and look forward to seeing you again. Just a point of clarification for people who don't know the site there is a fence, vegetation and wide grass verge between the site and our local country lane. We appreciate some people don't want to know to be aware of any type of road when they camp but one of the plus points for children is the site is so well back from any road access, they can play with a ball without fear of external traffic.

Ik was blij met: Very quiet and tidy, nice and flat with no stones so an easy pitch. Shower was hot!

Ik was niet zo blij met: Only a tiny sink in the toilet facilities, so probably better for campers who are self contained with your own kitchen. A simple improvement would be larger hooks in the shower cubicle and a couple of decking tiles to step out onto.

Van de manager: There is no wifi because we have poor rural internet.We cant provide what is impossible to provide.Our manageress checks showers/toilets twice a day but people sometimes tread in grass etc in between. .

Ik was blij met: we were met by the lovely Stacy at the entrance to the site she pointed out were everything was toilets , shop .water taps etc . she pointed out a few pitches and take your pick great. booked for two nights but decided to stay an extra night saw Stacy and paid . no problems its a flat field well spaced pitches and a good size . nice and quite site just the way we like it. toilets and showers were very clean and water was hot. we didn't go and see the animals this time but we will be going again soon . Thanks Stacy for a lovely stay see you again soon

Ik was blij met: Very peacefull with all the facilities you need.Little shop with basic essentials.Secure camping field.Plenty of space for the children to play and a good electric supply. Always a warm welcome and help whenever you need it.

Ik was blij met: Lovely site. Owners were nice. Stacey the manager was great to talk too, she even let my children see the animals. Very rural. Little shop on site was great. Great space for children to play with a football net.

Ik was niet zo blij met: Nowhere to walk safely. Toilets and showers were very dirty and smelt awful.

Van de manager: The showers and toilets are regularly cleaned although children can bring grass etc in on their shoes. There is nothing about the way they are kept to make them smell bad . As for the comment " Nowhere to walk safely"...this is a small rural site so we obviously cannot provide walks around the site which is on a nice safe field away from the road so children can play in safety. . The farm/site is situated on a country lane and so it does not have a pavement . Nearby there are interesting walks around the village and 10 minutes by car excellent walks around Twigmore Woods.

Ik was blij met: One of the most peaceful campsites I have stayed at. The hosts were lovely and couldn't be more helpful. Its in a beautiful rural location and is exactly what it says on the tin. Loved our stay there, thank you very much! Pitches were very generous in size and configuration of them allowed for privacy, there was only one other tent there but it felt like we were totally alone which was ideal for us. It was well sheltered from the crazy winds elsewhere in the country on this particular weekend.
