Ik was niet blij met Our belongings being left alone whilst we we were out for the day and being able to return to our plot without finding it occupied by some one else smelling of alcohol. Support from Michael in resolving the problem. We gained the impression it was a free for all and the bullies on site win.

Firstly, I'm genuinely sorry that an unfortunate situation with your pitch left you feeling so disappointed and upset. Reading your review has saddened me, particularly as providing a safe, welcoming and well-organised environment for all our guests is something we take enormous pride in.

I'm pleased you received such a warm welcome from Angela and appreciated our clean, well-maintained facilities and convenient location. However, I completely understand that the incident with your pitch overshadowed those positives.

I would just like to gently clarify what happened, as I wouldn't want you or anyone reading your review to be left with the impression that guests are free to occupy whichever pitch they choose.

All pitches at Briarfields are carefully allocated, and guests are expected to remain on their designated pitch unless a change has been agreed with our team.

On this occasion, a guest attending a rally had been given specific instructions to occupy one pitch on Thursday evening before moving to another on Friday. Unfortunately, they moved onto their Friday pitch without first checking with us, despite that pitch still being allocated to you. This created a very unfortunate situation that should never have affected your stay.

As soon as Michael was made aware of what had happened on Friday morning, he did his best to resolve the situation. I am genuinely sorry that you felt unsupported during this process, as that is certainly never how we want any guest to feel.

Please be assured that we do not operate a first-come, first-served system, nor do we tolerate guests disregarding pitch allocations or behaving in a way that makes others feel uncomfortable. We take the comfort and security of everyone staying with us extremely seriously.

Although the original misunderstanding arose from another guest moving without authorisation, I recognise that you were the ones inconvenienced, and for that I am truly sorry.

We will certainly be taking this experience on board and looking at how we can reinforce our pitch allocation instructions, particularly when accommodating a small rally to help prevent anything similar happening again.

It genuinely saddens me that this incident has left you with such a negative impression of Briarfields, especially when so much care and effort goes into making the park somewhere people feel happy, comfortable and welcome.

Ik was blij met The pitch up at Briarswood was a great stay, close to public transport either to go into Cheltenham or Gloucester running approximately every 15mins 24hrs a day.
The people managing the pitch up are friendly and extremely knowledgeable and helpful.
The place is clean and amenities are excellent with both disabled and normal facilities.

We're sorry the Wi-Fi was a little glitchy during your stay. We invested in a complete upgrade of our Wi-Fi system at the end of last season, and it's generally been performing very well, so we're disappointed it wasn't quite as reliable as it should have been for you. We do wish you'd mentioned it while you were here, as we'd have been more than happy to investigate and see if we could resolve the issue.

Ik was niet blij met If we were there longer we would have put our Awning up , which would have not been good . Our pitch and others have a small area to the side of the caravan but not enough which meant the awing would be spread across grass and gravel.

We're delighted you enjoyed your stay at Briarfields and appreciated our convenient location, spotless shower and toilet facilities, and our newly opened Orchard Bar & Kitchen. It's wonderful to hear the bar was an added bonus!

Thank you also for your comments about the space for an awning. Our fully serviced pitches are approximately 11.5m x 8.2m overall, with a designated gravel hardstanding area, and we do advise in our booking information that we can accommodate awnings up to a maximum depth of 2 metres.

The majority of our caravan guests are able to use their awnings successfully, although positioning the caravan correctly on the pitch can make quite a difference to the space available. The adjoining grass areas need to remain clear for fire safety reasons, so awnings must be contained within the designated hardstanding area.

We're sorry you felt there wouldn't have been sufficient room on your particular pitch, and we do wish we'd had the opportunity to have a look with you during your stay, as we may have been able to offer some helpful advice.

Most importantly, we're absolutely delighted to hear you loved Briarfields and are already looking at returning in December!
