Briarfields Touring Park

Syntes om We recently stayed at BriarsField and had a wonderful experience. The staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming, which made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The toilet and shower facilities were immaculate and clearly very well maintained. Our pitch was clean, tidy, and well presented, adding to the overall excellent standard of the site. The nearby bus stop was also a real bonus, making it easy to get around without having to use a car. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily recommend BriarsField to anyone looking for a well-kept and conveniently located site.

Syntes ikke om The only slight downside was some road noise, but that's understandable given the site's convenient location and easy access to local amenities and transport links. It certainly wouldn't stop us from staying again.

Support from Michael in resolving the problem. We gained the impression it was a free for all and the bullies on site win.

Firstly, I'm genuinely sorry that an unfortunate situation with your pitch left you feeling so disappointed and upset. Reading your review has saddened me, particularly as providing a safe, welcoming and well-organised environment for all our guests is something we take enormous pride in.

I'm pleased you received such a warm welcome from Angela and appreciated our clean, well-maintained facilities and convenient location. However, I completely understand that the incident with your pitch overshadowed those positives.

I would just like to gently clarify what happened, as I wouldn't want you or anyone reading your review to be left with the impression that guests are free to occupy whichever pitch they choose.

All pitches at Briarfields are carefully allocated, and guests are expected to remain on their designated pitch unless a change has been agreed with our team.

On this occasion, a guest attending a rally had been given specific instructions to occupy one pitch on Thursday evening before moving to another on Friday. Unfortunately, they moved onto their Friday pitch without first checking with us, despite that pitch still being allocated to you. This created a very unfortunate situation that should never have affected your stay.

As soon as Michael was made aware of what had happened on Friday morning, he did his best to resolve the situation. I am genuinely sorry that you felt unsupported during this process, as that is certainly never how we want any guest to feel.

Please be assured that we do not operate a first-come, first-served system, nor do we tolerate guests disregarding pitch allocations or behaving in a way that makes others feel uncomfortable. We take the comfort and security of everyone staying with us extremely seriously.

Although the original misunderstanding arose from another guest moving without authorisation, I recognise that you were the ones inconvenienced, and for that I am truly sorry.

We will certainly be taking this experience on board and looking at how we can reinforce our pitch allocation instructions, particularly when accommodating a small rally to help prevent anything similar happening again.

It genuinely saddens me that this incident has left you with such a negative impression of Briarfields, especially when so much care and effort goes into making the park somewhere people feel happy, comfortable and welcome.

Thank you again for your feedback. I hope that, despite this unfortunate experience, you were still able to enjoy some aspects of your time with us.

Syntes om Private pitches, toilets are clean, warm with music to break the silence in the middle of the night. Bus stop right outside with great links to Chetenham and Gloucester services which run late into the night if needed. On site bar is lovely with a good range of drinks and local brews at a reasonable price and very nice decor, can't wait until they start serving the Pizza, staff are very friendly and informative.

We're delighted you enjoyed your stay at Briarfields and appreciated the privacy of our pitches, our warm and spotless washrooms, and of course the music that makes those middle-of-the-night visits a little more enjoyable!

It's wonderful to hear you made good use of the bus services and enjoyed spending time in our new Orchard Bar & Kitchen. We're so pleased you liked the décor, the selection of drinks and our local brews. We're looking forward to introducing food too, so hopefully you'll be back to sample a pizza when we're up and running!

I also wanted to thank you for your helpful suggestion about the pathway lighting. We'd noticed over the weekend that the solar lights weren't illuminating as they should, and on Monday I discovered that the surrounding foliage had grown over the solar panel. A little pruning has now sorted the problem, and the lights are working again! It's often the little details that make a difference, and we really appreciate you taking the time to mention it.

Syntes om The pitch up at Briarswood was a great stay, close to public transport either to go into Cheltenham or Gloucester running approximately every 15mins 24hrs a day.
The people managing the pitch up are friendly and extremely knowledgeable and helpful.
The place is clean and amenities are excellent with both disabled and normal facilities.
