Mi è piaciuto Myself and my husband don't usually stay on big campsites but I have to say we really enjoyed this site. It was in a perfect location for The Forest of Dean and Wye Valley, immaculately tendered and the facilities were great. To be able to use the Swimming pool, Sauna and Steam room after a days walking for free was excellent value for money for what we paid for a 3 night campervan pitch. The restaurant food was relatively basic pub grub but was convenient and tasty with good service.

Non mi è piaciuto My only gripe was the service received in the venue area of a evening, the staff were often talking in clusters rather than paying attention to customers and when you did get served you felt a bit of an inconvenience with a can't be bothered attitude and not particularly friendly or enthusiastic. Just a observation made not only by me and my husband but other campers too Otherwise I would have given a 10 star review. However, we would definitely stay again.

Mi è piaciuto We love this site. Been several times before camping in a tent, this time we went with our camper van. Lovely big spacious pitches. The newly refurbished shower block was excellent. The site always looks immaculately cared for and clean. Its a great touring spot for all around the Lizard peninsula. Will be back!

Mi è piaciuto Lovely site with big pitches and a nice countryside view. Excellent new shower and toilet facilities which was immaculately clean and warm and we loved the gentle music playing, lovely touch! Everything was clearly signposted or easily found. Great location for us, extremely close to Dartmouth and we also visited Start point, Torcross and Totnes, all within easy reach.

Non mi è piaciuto Not really a dislike but found the pitch cost a little dear in comparison with others we've stayed at with a similar standard that were substantially cheaper, however saying that, we would stay here again.

Mi è piaciuto Fantastic 1 nights stay here in our campervan. The pitches were huge, campsite was really clean and well kept . Manager was friendly. Toilet and shower facilities were immaculate. (We didn't use the showers as we were going straight home but took a look when using the loo's! ) A treat to wake up to snow too! Looks beautiful on the site! Excellent pub up the road for food . Great and convenient location. We will definitely return:)

Mi è piaciuto The pitches were large and spacious. You can choose your pitch and park next to it.The location was convenient for our plans to visit Longleat and Stourhead which were both brilliant. The field is very close to Timsbury village rather than rural but you wouldn't know this while in the camping field. Its convenient for the shop and pub in the village. We had rain one evening so ate in the pub which was not fancy but perfectly nice food and good value.

Non mi è piaciuto We have used dozens of compost loos in our time so they dont bother us at all, but as we were there the last 3 days of season the waste had built up very high to the loo seat which was unpleasant. The first night of our stay our Fire pit leg broke and we felt the cost of hire for a fire pit was steep at £20 so we had our fire in our bbq ( only 1 night until ours was fixed), it was well raised off the ground but not large or out of control, we have camped for many years and would never abuse our surroundings. We were surprised to get a visit from the camp owner who didn't approach us politely to say he was worried about the long grass(it had been raining all day!), he bought a bucket of water for us in case it got out of control! We already had a 10 litre water canister for safety filled i might add. As four adults in our late 40s with a 9 year old child I felt like we were spoken to like teenagers. This was disappointing and we wouldn't return to the camp site again because of this.

Mi è piaciuto Amazing views and immaculate Toilet and Shower facilities. Our host was extremely friendly and welcoming. When we arrived we had realised we forgot to pick up milk for our morning coffee and she bought us some down in a flask which was much appreciated! The location was perfect for everything we had planned. Ingleton waterfall trail and Malham Cove were fantastic walks, we also visited Bolton Abbey and ventured to Blackpool for the day. Settle isn't far for groceries I would recommend Booth's for barbecue food! Delicious! Would definitely stay again. Thank you!

Mi è piaciuto Absoloutely beautiful site. Outstanding views down the estuary. The eco facilities were immaculately clean and cared for. We enjoyed a camp fire every evening with the fire pit provided and free logs which was a real bonus! The site is conveniently located just outside Kingsbridge but close enough to all sorts of amenities all within walking distance or a very short drive. Owners were friendly and helpful. We will definitely return again. An absolute gem!

Mi è piaciuto Lovely big site to choose your own pitch. Really clean facilities. Campfires allowed. Friendly owners come round to check on you in the evening without being intrusive. Perfect location for exploring the area and beyond. Lots of bird wildlife and pretty back drop of the forest.

Mi è piaciuto Lovely big site, plenty of pitches to choose from. Loved all the animals and very handy to have a little bar on site! Convenient for Kennack Sands, the Lizard and surrounding area.

Non mi è piaciuto It was a particularly busy weekend as it was a Bank Holiday so unfortunately the toilets were getting blocked and in a bit of a state and there was no soap in the loos either.

Mi è piaciuto The pod was exactly what we needed for one night's stay meeting up with our friends who had stayed the night before. For February it was warm and cosy with a heater supplied for extra warmth. There was a nice view over the fields. The owners were extremely helpful and friendly and allowed us to drop our stuff off early when we arrived so we could head off out for the day. The farm is lovely and there are lots of animals to meet. The two shop cats were gorgeous and it was great to see new born calfs. The farm shop was well stocked and convenient, we had excellent bacon sarnies in the morning and fresh milk with our coffee. The amenities were more than adequate.
