Brayshaw View Glamping and Camping

Really quiet, not over crowded.
You could park anyway and anywhere you wanted to be able to maximise the view. We went with another couple and a child and had all the space we needed. It was absolutely perfect for what we needed toilets, shower block and washing up facilities were at the top of the field, these are well maintained. The owner even came out with delicious cake which was a bonus.

Non mi è piaciuto Nothing to dislike but just a word of caution the road in is very narrow with a few passing places so make sure you’re a good driver and able to reverse. You are in the countryside so it’s what you should expect!!

Non mi è piaciuto A little remote, car journey to the pub or shop if needed, that said with forward planning can overcome the shop issue. Hot water was a little hit and miss in the shower.

Mi è piaciuto Beautiful location, plenty of space and you can choose where you pitch up. You can have your car with your tent, no need to park somewhere and walk all your stuff over. Flushing toilets, showers and hot water! What more could you need. And dog friendly!

Mi è piaciuto I stayed at Brayshaw View Campsite for two nights with my teenage son. He wanted to climb Gordale Scar so I looked for a quiet campsite that was relatively close, and which promised great views.

We were not disappointed! The campsite was quiet, peaceful and pretty much perfect. We don't like being around hordes of people and we have very basic needs, so really didn't want to be in a massively commercial place. The site was flat, with plenty of space and the toilets and washing facilities were clean and easily accessible. The bell tents looked nice but we didn't stay in one so I can't really comment on what they were like inside.

There are some lovely walks around the campsite and we went for a wander on day one after pitching up. On day two we had a scenic drive to Malham for our hike, and then back again to peace and tranquility. The only sounds we could hear were from the local wildlife, which was really comforting.

Non mi è piaciuto I can't think of any negatives about Brayshaw View Campsite and I would love to return one day.

Mi è piaciuto Fantastic views, great communication from site owners once booked. Facilities nice and clean and plenty of hot water for showers

Mi è piaciuto The bell tent ⛺ was great & had everything we needed.
Toilets & showers were always clean & plenty of nice toilet roll in them.
Fire pits were great.
Able to buy wood, charcoal & marshmallows on site with a QR which was a really good.
Great for star gazing !

Mi è piaciuto Great location. Beautiful setting. Quiet. Great communication from the owner. Handy for mountain biking in Gisburn Forest and walks.

Mi è piaciuto Beautiful views on a quiet site. The field gently slopes but there are plenty of mostly level areas if you look.
Very clean and tidy. Would revisit 💯
Was my 6 month old pups first camping trip and he adored it, really good place for getting young dogs used to cows and sheep
