Our campsite has dedicated staff available at reception 9am to 5pm to assist our guests, who would have been more than happy to provide information regarding the area. Lakeside is in a rural setting so wifi and phone signal cannot be guaranteed. It's good to know you enjoyed the size of our pitches and our peaceful site.

As Lakeside is in a rural setting a strong phone signal cannot be guaranteed. There is a phone box located a few minutes walk away for any emergencies if you don't get signal.

Non mi è piaciuto: Really disappointed to be making this review, the site states that they are a familly friendly site yet that couldnt be further from the truth unless your the type of familly to get absaloulty incoherent while your children are causing trouble at midnite.
Couldn't be any less peacefull if you tried , massive groups and I mean over 20 people, 6 tents partying till past midnight , music pounding from one end of the campsite to the other, no sign of any staff to sort it out even tho quiet time is from half 10 , no checks being carried out. This was only the first night
2nd night , another huge group of adults rock up this time no children (states that no groups allowed, strange) music starts around about 5pm , which is fine, everyone deserves to enjoy themselves , but then this group is still screaming shouting. Drinking , signing at half 2 in the morning , to then top it off the children from the other large group where running around at 1 in the morning , kicked our tent which was on the other side of the field to them this resulted in them kicking the bbays bed so she woke up screaming and took over 2 hours to calm her down.
Over the whole weekend we seen 1 member off staff and that was to check in, nothing bad to say about her she was pleasant. But other than that it was like everyone could do what they wanted.
There is a road next to the campsite , not overly busy but with it being 60mph can be quite noisy. No fault of the campsite tho this diddnt really effect us , but I know it can for others.
I would appreciate some form of refund from the site , as I don't think it's fair for a younge familly to travel 3 hours to then have a total of 5 hours sleep in a weekend.
Sorry to hear you did not have a good experience on your recent visit. We do have security on at weekends so they were patrolling. We didn't have any other complaints that we are aware of and we have many happy families stay and enjoy themselves.
