We then go to the toilet to find it had showers and built in hair dryers!!! Was very clean no rubbish as plenty of bins provided! This was mine and my partners first time camping and needless to say it is something we are going to be doing a lot more going forward and I put that down to our experience we had on this camp site! WOULD RECOMMEND TO ANYONE.

We're so happy to hear you had a lovely time at our beautiful location at Lakeside. Although we don't have a play area at the campsite, there is a huge adventure play area at Castle Howard that you can access with the gardens ticket. All our campers receive a 2 for 1 voucher for access to the gardens at Castle Howard including the adventure playground. This is included in your email confirmation when you book. We look forward to seeing you again in future.

Non mi è piaciuto: Only issue I had was with Castle Howard itself across the lake which on the weekend held some kind of event which resulted in very loud noise, hardly music,being blasted out until 2am in the morning. The site did warn us that the Castle was closed for 2 days to visitors but clearly didn't know music was going to be played loud until the early hours of the morning. Also very disappointed with the lack of food options and times some pubs stopped serving food in an evening in the town 5 miles away in Molton. The rave reviews about it being food heaven certainly was clearly a wind up. The town itself was lovely.
