Accoglienza calorosa, strutture pulite e natura splendida. Ottimi i lodge sugli alberi e ampi spazi, atmosfera tranquilla. Piccoli miglioramenti alla doccia e acqua calda (maggio 2024). Accesso a volte complicato. Chiusura aree boschive per malattia degli alberi (agosto 2024).

Tenda a noleggio The Swallow Tentsile (pensile)
Mi è piaciuto The campsite is lovely. Lots of space, great facilities and honestly working on being eco-friendly. We stayed in the Swallow and it was ideal for three people. We didn't use camping mats, just our sleeping bags. In colder weather you would probably want a thin mat for heat insulation.
We only needed one night of accommodation and we were grateful we could stay here instead of a hotel.
Have already recommended this to friends with kids who live in Chester.
Non mi è piaciuto If you're coming with children warn them that the playground at the start of the drive-way is not for guests. It's not in the listing, but my son got excited when he saw the trampoline.

Mi è piaciuto Pitches were lovely, one of the best campsites we have stayed in. Communal area has an area with a roof which is appreciated when staying in the UK. Nice and quiet and well laid out. Small site and really good for families.

Mi è piaciuto Lovely, friendly owners, the place was clean and beautiful! can only imagine it in better weather and more into the summer. Loved the communal fire pit area and covered parts, so even in bad weather, we were able to be outside. Also, an amazing Indian 3 mins down the road :)
Non mi è piaciuto The composting toilets were a shock to the system, but that's me and not the site. They were explained very thoroughly and demonstrated.

Mi è piaciuto Thank you so much! For our first trip camping we had the most amazing time. The campsite itself was easy to find, super clean, and had everything you needed and more. The owners were very helpful when contacted prior to arriving and very welcoming on arrival. What a fantastic find that we will definitely be visiting again for a longer stay.
Non mi è piaciuto Unfortunately, some of the trees had fallen down and lots of the forest was closed off. We can’t wait to come back and explore more of the site.

Mi è piaciuto The beauty of the site. It is well kept and looked after and you can see the owners put a huge amount of effort into making the site the best it possibly can be!
The owners, Seb and Hannah, were lovely, friendly, welcoming and happy to help and suggest local things to do.

Mi è piaciuto Absolutely fantastic stay in the buzzard, the site had more than we needed and the owners were accommodating in every way. Had a cosy fire in the night sky toasting marshmallows with my two younger boys. They loved the novelty of camping up in the trees, it felt free, safe and most of all comfortable. Looking forward to staying again, will definitely be joined by friends as I've made them all jealous. The tent was immaculate and clean, the running hot water was a blessing and the showers were great. Thanks tree tops and train tracks you really made it a special time for us and it was nice to know you where there 24/7 if we needed you. Take care and see you again soon 💯🏆
