Mi è piaciuto The setting was beautiful, with amazing countryside views. The pitch was spacious. Our ‘pod’ had comfortable beds & there was only a short walk to washing up/ shower/ toilet facilities which were excellent & very clean. The staff were all polite & helpful

Non mi è piaciuto It was a little annoying to have to book & pay for the swimming pools, and the online system was difficult. However the pools & changing facilities were excellent

Mi è piaciuto Views were beautiful (especially from dog exercise area).
Showers and toilets always clean and stocked.
Food service and quality in restaurant brilliant.
Lovely dog friendly terrace and indoor seating area for food.
All staff were lovely and helpful.
Swimming pools were lovely and modern and staff always cleaning the floors. Jacuzzi and sauna area. Lots of sun loungers at the outdoor pool and a few at the indoor pool.
Can see the pool from the terrace and watch in on swimmers (my husband sat outside with the dogs whilst we swam)
Shop had all the basics needed.
Beautiful big park for the kids.
Great little soft play for rainy afternoons with comfy sofas.
Evening and daytime entertainment was great! (Wish we’d known about bingo being cash only as nowhere to get cash on site, also games room is cash only)
Quiet after 10pm 👍🏻 no noise issues, very considerate neighbours.

Non mi è piaciuto Nothing really! It’s the perfect hybrid between a big holiday park and a campsite. Has that freedom for the kids to run around bare foot safely with the extras on site.

Mi è piaciuto Great facilities, well run, great for kids. We took our 18 month old here for her first camping trip. Pitches are assigned with clear boundaries making it easy to camp up. Electric hookup worked well and helped with managing a toddler while camping (mini fridge for milk for example). Showers were clean and warm. Toilets were mostly clean and stocked well with paper. Lighting was good for navigating the site at night. The on site facilities were great such as the indoor pool, outdoor pool (including toddler water play area), outside play equipment, indoor soft play, gym, restaurant, entertainment, arcade and shop.
We could have stayed on site for the duration of our trip, but the location is also conveniently close to Charmouth and Lyme Regis. Great days out and a wide range of beaches nearby (5-10 minute drive).

Non mi è piaciuto The outdoor pool was meant to be heated but felt cold. It was a hot day so we didnt mind much but my toddler didnt manage for long before she was shivering.

Mi è piaciuto the park was really clean, the food was better then you would expect from a holiday park, any issues were communicated well and the staff were fantastic.

Non mi è piaciuto Although the park was clean it is a little rundown and could do with a revamp, in particular the out side pool and the arcade. The arcade is very poor with 4 out of the 12 machine out of order for the whole week we were there. Other machine were faulty but still in use and the air hockey table is holding on by a thread. It feels very much like all these machines were either donated or picked up at a car boot sale. The pool has a considerable amount of tiles missing. the ones on the walls of the pool you can see, its the ones on the floor that you cant and can be an issues as there are some sharper edges to them. Also a charge for the pool each time you wish to use it is a little extortionate especially given its state of disrepair. the owns should really consider spending some money repairing and up dating in the closed season.

Non mi è piaciuto Pitches seemed quite close together and tricky to get a LWB van out of around an awning. The food in the restaurant was lovely but I did find it quite expensive.

Mi è piaciuto Swimming pool, views, all staff very happy and friendly. Toilet block was clean.

Non mi è piaciuto Hand dryer in toilet block very noisy from our pitch but got used to it. One morning the shower block ran out of water but was very quickly fixed.

Mi è piaciuto Everything! This is the second time we have been here, it is an amazing site, it is clean and tidy, staff are all very friendly, facilities are brilliant, only a short walk to the beach, we requested a pitch close to the dog walking area, which we got.
Honestly I can’t recommend Newlands enough, so relaxing, peaceful, the views were amazing, we had the best time!
Oh and the food at the tow bar, absolutely delicious! Thank you to all the team for your hard work making newlands the amazing place it is! Until next time 💙

Mi è piaciuto The whole site is very well organised. Really tidy and clean throughout. Even though the site was busy, it never seemed over crowded.

Shower and toilet facilities were lovely and clean, good washing up stations with plenty of room.

Huge dog exercise area which is great.

Used the swimming pool, again, not over crowded and really easy to book.

Love the fact the site has it's own app which was great for finding out all kinds of information.
