Non mi è piaciuto Very cramped campsite - had to listen whilst trying to get some sleep to a party of Londoners loudly enjoying themselves without thought or consideration to anyone else until 11pm (at the earliest) cars blocking entrances to pitches , surly of the surliest teenager at reception. Wi-Fi unusable due to lack of capacity.

Mi è piaciuto Quite, no dogs, no music. Great showers and facilities. Great location.

Mi è piaciuto The toilet/shower block and washing up area is nice and very well equipped and clean.
Only £5 for 12pm check out.
Close to Croyde bay and Baggy point.
Friendly and helpful staff

Non mi è piaciuto Right on the main road so could hear traffic and theres a tree with a lot of birds in close by, but that only effected us one morning, and the site can't do anything about that.
Would have been nice to have a space for the kids to play but its not a massive site so they dont have space. Again nothing they can do about that and we spent most of our time at the beach anyway where there is plenty of space.

Mi è piaciuto The campsite is lovely. We stayed for 2 nights. It's so quiet at night and just a really nice atmosphere. It is very close (walking distance) to everything all the local bars restaurants and beaches. The facilities have been updated since we last stayed. They are always kept really clean and tidy. They have family shower rooms which are really handy when travelling with children. They also have washing up soap at the sinks, they have hair dryers and straighteners in the shower rooms which is amazing!!! We would definitely come back.

Mi è piaciuto Quiet campsite; very friendly campers; easy to walk up on to Baggy Point which is amazing.
The freezer was v useful and the shower block was well laid out.

Mi è piaciuto Very clean campsite.
I liked the quietness of the site, considering the bustling atmosphere of Croyde in August this site felt very relaxed.
Staff were friendly and helpful.
The pitches were very level and considerable effort had obviously been made to terrace the land.
Pitches were a good size.
Location was pretty good. Better for town than the beach, though only a 15 mins walk to the beach.
Shower /loo block was clean and well designed.

Non mi è piaciuto It's quite Costly for a pitch. But this is more of a comment on camp sites in Devon and Cornwall in general, rather than specific to this one.

Whilst I am nowhere near the most expensive in Croyde (Croyde being very popular and my campsite being consistently fully booked) what I have found is that I get the best customers (such as yourself) and perhaps pricing plays a role in deterring the rowdy element. I will keep this constantly under review and endeavour to give value for money, whilst keeping the site family friendly and riffraff free as a guiding principle.

Mi è piaciuto Great position for a short walk to the village or a slightly longer one to the beach.

Non mi è piaciuto The site is on a slope, pitches have been cut into the slope to level it out but levelling blocks are still needed and it’s not suitable for people with mobility issues.

Showers need a good clean, the baskets on the wall provided to hold your toiletries are filthy and not been cleaned in a very long while.

I was in pitch 6 which was on the edge opposite the reception. Unfortunately other guests seems to have no issue walking directly through my pitch and there was a constant stream of vehicles coming and going and lights glaring at night. A hedge or fence would help rectify this.

Mi è piaciuto Loved this little site. Clean showers, toilets and wash up area. Staff always around to help if needed. Felt safe as a solo female in my van and met a new friend who also was camping solo. Close to the beach and the village. Market was ace and also close by. Was very peaceful too. Had the best time.
