Seaview Gorran Haven Holiday Park

Mi è piaciuto Pitch size good. Location. Not much else. The pool area was kept lovely but did not feel heated at all.

Non mi è piaciuto The facilities were disgusting, 1 block with around 6 loos / shower rooms for 100s of people. No hot water at any time it is warm at best, only cleaned once a day. Not area for wetsuits so people do it in showers and leave such a mess. The beach access is not a lane/path but a road that you need to climb in bushes if a car needs to pass. Steep 25 mins down hill, so hike up after is hard. We had a pitch next to the loos and people walking across our pitch 30 people on formation day we had to ask them no use the path most commented no signs so continued to walk through our pitch. There is no signs up and nothing blocking pitches from the loos so no one listened to us. The electric was also poor, our tripped on first day and we were told if we wanted to use anything we needed only 1 plug at a time that included our fridge which we had to unplug ever time we needed to boil the kettle or charge our phones, they said that was normal and should happen at all campsites, I can assure you it should not. Honestly this is 1 star at best and was a rip off would never go back. All there attention is on the lodges and the camp/motorhome site if a s**t show. People were getting sick from using the shared kitchen and it was easy to see why I could never have used that microwave or oven. 🤢.

Mi è piaciuto The pool was sufficient. The guy with the husky the groundsman he was a lovely friendly chap very hardworking and didn't seem to stop always has a smile. He actually deserves a holiday (not seaview park) or a pay rise. Washing machine worked and dryer. Reception & coffee shop are to lure you in as these are nice as pics show.

Non mi è piaciuto I'm No Karen but you want an honest review and not a sugar coated one for all the snowflakes here goes.... ground was too solid even for heavy duty pegs. People sick on camp which we then contracted Neurovirus 🤢 so spent 3 days of our holiday in the tent with sick children. The toilets were diabolical about 6 shower/toilet rooms for the entire campsite with showers that had no shower heads they're all flooded stink of urine! It's not great that the toilets are for all and not male & female seperate blocks as several children couldn't lock the doors so many were walked in on or locked in once inside as locks were no good for kids. The receptionist was quite rude upon arrival as we arrived an hour early she clearly stated I'm not meant to let you on till 2 well thats pretty crap as you're on at 2pm off at 10am so technically paying for 2 days you're not on it. The access to the beach is not good if you have difficulty walking as it's a very steep hill down and up. Pollution on beach and not informed. If you want as stated "seaview" bring a telescopic ladder to get you up a tree and a pair of binoculars failing that get a drone! Microwave and cooker are possibly the reason for norovirus!!! 🤢 grass pitch was right on the bins needs moving really, told me when booking no electric field available yet parked me on an electric pitch! 🤦🏻‍♀️ playground dated! If you want a seaview holiday park i recommend the one you pass driving in as we thought that was ours! "Heligan caravan and camping"

Mi è piaciuto Brilliant site, lovely and clean, nice to have individual toilet/shower cubicles for more privacy! Loved having a pool onsite too. Nice walk to the beach, think we made it in 15 minutes cutting through public footpaths through the fields. All in all we had a wonderful stay.

Mi è piaciuto - The reception and pool area were lovely and modern, easy to access throughout the day with nice seating areas to watch over the children.
- Safe, friendly feel with a brilliant space for children to play
- Shower rooms were large and family friendly, each with their own toilet, shower and changing area
- Nice large pitches
- Quiet in the evening
- Friendly staff

Non mi è piaciuto - Just one shower and toilet in the pool area which made it difficult when leaving, the shower was also very weak so it took a long time to get washed properly
- Motorhome pitches had loads of space however the majority of the pitch was hardstanding with only a small amount of grass, therefore it was logistically difficult to pitch an awning tent for sleeping in. We ended up sideways so that we could use the grass at the front of the pitch, but it meant we couldn't use the hedge for shelter or privacy and were stuck out close to the road.
- Wifi at the pitch was limited, we rarely connected to it because it didn't work well
- Although the shower rooms were great for space, it took some time for water to warm up at quieter times, with some not warming up at all, and some of the shower rooms flooded a lot
- The walk to the beach wasn't the easiest, extremely steep, and it was too narrow to take the van down or the trolley with all beach items. It was a nice walk if you are just going to visit, but if you want to stay for the day you would have to drive and risk your car getting damaged or go elsewhere.

Mi è piaciuto Spacious fully served pitches with hedges as dividers, giving the sense of privacy.

Non mi è piaciuto The toilet/shower block was dated. Not all had hand soap and some had a tea-towel as a hand towel! Paper towels would be welcomed along with a mop to self-serve assisting with keeping the floor clean.

Mi è piaciuto Nice large fully serviced pitch close to the central toilet / shower facilities.

Non mi è piaciuto The hard standing area was made up with large stones which were uncomfortable to walk on even with an awning carpet down.

Mi è piaciuto Was a lovely peaceful site. Beautiful surroundings, lovely swimming pool and clean out and about. Great park and field space for the kids to play football and run around. The kitchen was great with grill, hob and kettle when the weather was rubbish we could all use to cook food. Separate rooms for showers and toilets which was great.

Mi è piaciuto Really nice site overall good facilities and pool area. Also the women working at reception really nice and helpful.

Non mi è piaciuto Only dislike was the man who worked there manager or whatever he was very judgmental and not very friendly at all
