Mi è piaciuto: Unfortunately we only stayed for 4 hours so didn’t get to spend 1 night there as our son fell really ill but it seemed like a really beautiful place and we definitely would like to go back

Mi è piaciuto: Perfect weather for a few days camping with our older kids and their partners… very good camping facilities…. Shower and washing areas tidy and clean.
Felt safe leaving our tent and belongings whilst going to beaches and fistral bay.
Staff were helpful and friendly.

Non mi è piaciuto: I’ve stayed here before but last time on a different pitch but this time there was problems with flooding due to bad weather most of the site was shut down even though we were in season and the shower and toilet facilities were dated and dirty the showers were so small you needed to try and dry and dress yourself in the actual shower this was very difficult as the water didn’t drain away and the showers they were dirty and clogged with hair they had mats in the bottom which needed a good clean with disinfectant it made u feel very unclean even though you had showered

Unfortunately, the weather recently has presented some challenges across the site, but we completely understand that this would have impacted your holiday, and we are truly sorry for that.

Swimming pool lovely and warm 31c .

Non mi è piaciuto: Sited on a very wet pitch which had a big dip . Couldn’t use our awning all week as it flooded the first night , we were told how to set up a certain way so couldn’t move it . We found it strange that we were all put on flooded pitches when lots of better pitches not being used . Showers are small in size and only 2 per shower block . Teenagers wanted to play at the arcade but no cash machine on site so had to travel 2 miles up the road to Morrisons to draw cash out .

We’re sorry to hear about the issues you experienced with your pitch and the wet ground conditions. Following recent spells of wet weather, some areas of the park have been more affected than usual, but we understand how frustrating this must have been, especially when setting up. Your comments about pitch allocation have been noted and will be reviewed to help improve future stays.

We appreciate your feedback regarding the size of the showers and the number of facilities available. This is something we will review as part of our site improvement plans.

Regarding the arcade, we completely understand how inconvenient it is not having access to cash on-site. We are currently exploring options to introduce a contactless change facility to make things easier for our guests in future, although we don't yet have a confirmed installation date.

Mi è piaciuto: Not a lot to be honest. Disaster from arrival. They put us on wet grass after confirming a hardstanding pitch on the Thursday and said they were all booked. Even though there was one free throughout the duration of our short stay.

Non mi è piaciuto: Shop was closing the day after we arrived and we had to go to the Co Op in the village in a 26' motorhome with nowhere to park. This was after We had to navigate a poorly signposted one way system in the dark. We then tried to go into Truro on the Monday and realised we were stuck in the mud as it had rained all morning and the hardstanding pitch was still vacant. We got a full refund and drove home as the reception staff and management were extremely unhelpful. They even parked a car on the still vacant hardstanding pitch instead of moving us once we had managed to get towed free from the mud. A truly awful experience and I would not recommend to any one with a Motorhome.

We apologise for the pitch allocation issues and for any miscommunication regarding the availability of hardstanding pitches. We understand how frustrating this must have been, especially considering the poor weather conditions at the time. Your comments about pitch management and parking have been noted and will be reviewed carefully as part of our service improvement processes.

We’re also sorry for the inconvenience caused by the shop closure. We appreciate that accessing local amenities can sometimes be difficult with larger vehicles, particularly when navigating unfamiliar areas at night.

While we are pleased that a refund was arranged, we regret that this did not make up for the disappointment you experienced. Thank you again for taking the time to leave your comments — they are important to us as we continue to make improvements.

Gym very clean, good equipment fab classes
Very friendly staff
Pot washing area is fab
Good proximity to Newquay
Games room brill for the kids

Non mi è piaciuto: Hard standing pitches not wide enough which means when it’s rains your area is very muddy which is not ideal with children
Site is a little tired and scruffy looking BUT improvements look to be made for 2025 which is great
Showers not cleaned the whole time we were there and they would not drain, very cold and not private at all for women as the door is always latched open
Road noise (but again hopefully the pitches will be further from the road come 2025 onwards)
Cars do drive fast around the site, when you have young children it does make you on edge. 15mph speed limit is to fast.
Individual changing rooms require for the swimming pool, none shared showers required and also lockers. The pool needed a good clean, lots and lots of long hairs caught in my hands which is grim
