Hollins Farm Holiday Park

Mi è piaciuto Quiet and clean facilities in a lovely location. The site is in a lovely location. Looks to be well connected to public footpaths (didnt try as travelling with two under 5 solo) but the drive to the next village was 10 mins and they have everything one needs for a stay.
The pod has everything you need and is very comfortable. We were stuck in during rain and as long as you pull the sofa bed back there is plenty of floor space for staying in - no table though.

Mi è piaciuto Lovely site, big pitches, helpful friendly staff, quiet, nice to be able to use sister sites swimming pool. Toilet block excellent, clean and well maintained big shower cubicles with toilets in there too. Reliable wifi. All round a winner...and on top of that, some really funny chickens

Non mi è piaciuto The shower heads are a bit annoying, they point down too far. Not the sites fault but they do and the radio in there was too loud. These are petty points i admit but you asked

Mi è piaciuto Very clean, spacious toilets.
Good WiFi.
Great atmosphere with really friendly hardworking staff.
Great location.
Quiet site, family friendly.
The use of Silverdales facilities was a real bonus - great pool with excellent changing facilities, gym, sauna, steam room, small bowling lanes and a few arcade machines, great cafe with lovely homemade soup and cakes and a well stocked shop. Around a 10 minute walk (on a safe footpath) or 2 minute drive.
Nice walks and bicycle rides (older children) nearby.
Very secure with key code access.
Pitches close to the toilets and showers.
Very clean, neat and tidy all round.
Arnside nearby has an excellent fish and chip shop (book a slot online) and great views over the bay.
Silverdale is closer and has a decent sized co-op.
There are plenty of pubs around the area, although we didn't use them.

An excellent campsite all round, highly recommended.

On-site shop wasn't open very often (not a problem for us adults, but the kids tried a few times to buy some goodies and came back empty handed).

Mi è piaciuto Lovely place to stay. The grounds are lovely and very well maintained.

The showers, games room and kitchen area were always kept very clean.

The toilets had music playing which was an added touch.

I will definitely be returning to this site in the future.

Non mi è piaciuto The plot we stayed on was not flat, it was on quite an obvious slant, which meant that sleeping wasn’t the most comfortable. Which ever way we put our beds we were rolling towards each other due to the slant. After looking around the site it looked like most plots were the same.
However, this wouldn’t put me off returning to this lovely site, it would have just been nice to be informed that this was the case before booking.

Mi è piaciuto Absolutely everything about this site. The pitch was amazing. The showers and toilets were absolutely fantastic. The location is amazing and we had a brilliant time.

Non mi è piaciuto Having to Go home. My daughter asked if I could pay for longer.

Mi è piaciuto Unlimited access to swimming pool and other facilities food and bar were great.
Site was very clean and tidy and well kept.
Staff were polite and helpful.
Views were amazing
Walks around park really nice.

Non mi è piaciuto Being too close to tents - they were noisy at night
Narrow roads made it difficult to get caravan down

Mi è piaciuto Peaceful and well-kept site with plentiful, clean toilet facilities and a games room. The larger sister site was a pleasant few minutes walk across fields with views of Morecambe Bay, and provided plentiful facilities including swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna, steam room, restaurant, bar, shop, pitch and putt, ten pin bowling.

Plenty of lovely walks from the campsite. The beach is a short, easy walk away. Note that it’s a large, shallow estuary and not suitable for swimming/paddling.

Non mi è piaciuto The field we were in was not flat. Our pitch was sloping a little which meant our stove wasn’t level and mattresses slid downhill. Some of the other pitches had more of a slope on them. Worth asking for a flatter pitch when booking.

The little shop never appeared to be open. The staff could be phoned for service, but I didn’t feel comfortable doing that other than at check-in.

Non mi è piaciuto 10pm curfew is 10pm
1st night I had my music on low and was pretty much told to turn it off which I honestly I didn’t mind at 10.15

2nd night raining slightly so we was in the tent playing a game at at 10.05pm we was approached from someone outside telling us to quieten it down.Really was inside the bloody tent having a laugh,yet kids were shouting still at 11.15 and beeping of electric scooters.Wont be going back purely for that reason only.

As you can appreciate, this has to be followed due to the large number of tents and tourers on park at once. Non mi è piaciuto Exposure of the site . No protection from the gale force winds. Cramped into the corner of site . Far too many tents and cars . Kids screaming and playing ball near the car . Couldn’t hammer in tent pegs . Ground too hard built on quarry
