Mi è piaciuto Lovely site, really good sized pitches, owners were lovely, really close to everything we wanted to see and easy access from the main road. The farm shop is absolutely perfect.
Non mi è piaciuto The toilets were not ok, obviously cleaned but in serious need of updating and repair.

Great onsite shed stocked with essentials and local produce.
Non mi è piaciuto The shower and toilet block let it down. Very dated and in need of updating.

Non mi è piaciuto Nothing. If you don’t like basic amenities then this may be a little out of your comfort zone. The showers have great pressure and temperature but are basic.

Mi è piaciuto Great location near the foot of Blencathra. Pleasant, quiet site, friendly hosts, large pitches with plenty of room between neighbours. About a 10 minute walk across fields to two good pubs in Threlkeld. Some excellent hiking routes available from the site without needing to drive anywhere.
Good mobile signal (with BT) so I didn't miss the wifi.
Non mi è piaciuto As others have said, the toilet and shower block really do need updating.
I've stayed here once before and I would stay again so it hasn't put me off.
