Mi è piaciuto This was a lovely campsite with gorgeous views. The owner was really friendly and helpful. Good overall facilities.
Non mi è piaciuto I think the campsite may have been overbooked as it was very cramped. The toilet is slightly odd, have used a compostable toilet at other campsites and they were great however, this one didn't just have a hole, it has a sloping bowl to separate but this was quite unhygienic.

Non mi è piaciuto The only issue was the steep drive up to the field for camping, but definitely worth it for the views.

Mi è piaciuto Love this campsite!! Perfect back to basics site. Beautiful views all around, mountains, horses, cows, sheep and chickens. Lovely hot shower and clean toilet. Pete and Emily who run the site are very friendly and accommodating. Very relaxed atmosphere. Loved our stay and will definitely be back.

Mi è piaciuto Place was great , very close to Kendall, owners were very welcoming, lovely quite place to relax, shepherds hut had everything we needed , and was so comfortable and walm. With extras cookies , which were very tasty , and milk left for our stay , will definitely be back, as it’s a great price too , thank you .

Mi è piaciuto We stayed in the blue door shepherds hut, it was very clean and has a very useful kitchenette with everything you would need for your stay
Bed was super comfy and clean, toilet facilities were clean and eco friendly, shower was clean and nice too!
Fire pits and bbq friendly site
The hosts were super friendly and helpful, salt of the earth type of people, they checked in on us and made sure we were okay and happy with everything and couldn’t be more helpful, even their dog Sprout was a true little gentleman
There was a tin of homemade cookies left in the hut for us on arrival and they were absolutely delicious, I’d return just for them
I’d recommend this place to anyone and will definitely be booking again
Lovely remote location that’s only a 15 min drive to Kendal centre and great genuine hosts that couldn’t be more accommodating

Mi è piaciuto The glorious site, the quiet, the welcome from the hosts, the basic eco-friendly facilities - a very beautiful place to be.
Non mi è piaciuto A little tricky to find a flatish space but not really a problem. We were in a Berlingo and the track was fine but I wouldn't want to do it in a big van as the turns are tight and it's quite narrow.
