What customers say
A quiet, eco-friendly site with lovely remote views. Owners are friendly and helpful, facilities are spotless, and campfires are allowed. The farm track can be tricky for some cars, but it's a great spot for a peaceful break surrounded by nature and farm animals.

Rural peaceful stay with excellent views
Non-electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked Amazing views
Peaceful
No traffic noise
Had a lovely campfire & BBQ
Lovely, really friendly owners - Emily recommended a fab swim spot to me
They've added a urinal station half way down the site which is handy and eases pressure on compost loo (could almost always use it without waiting when needed)
Unisex facilities
The fairy lights on sides of path down to showers & wash up station are a nice touch
Kettle in the wash up station for hot water
Plugs available in washup/shower block for charging
Disliked I'm not as big of a fan of compost toilets as I thought I was - I'm used to the type with sawdust on the allotment where it's probably not very heavily used. Absolutely makes sense for the location & eco-friendly though.
Happened to stay when many the sheep had been collected into the close by fields and we're being sorted the next day (for sheep dipping maybe?) so there was a lot of baa-ing.
Just a strong contrast to how beautifully quiet it was the previous night, but it's a working farm and all part of the experience!
Showers could use a bit more maintenance but lovely and hot and pretty clean
The farm tracks to get to the campsite from the road were an intense drive in my tiny ancient hatchback

Non-electric grass and earth campervan pitch
Liked Absolutely stunning campsite. We did a few beautiful walks and also visited lakes nearby from here. Facilities are basic but clean! Showers lovely and warm.
Disliked Not a dislike just consider when booking roads are narrow, bumpy hilly as expected in this area!
