Questo campeggio tranquillo e curato offre ampi spazi privati con aree designate per fuoco/BBQ. Elogi costanti per bagni impeccabili, cucina ben attrezzata e negozio a gestione fiduciaria con caffè. Le carriole sono un aiuto gradito. Nonostante un po' di vento (mitigato da nuovi alberi), le pulizie, i servizi attenti e gli host cordiali sono molto apprezzati.

Mi è piaciuto We loved the site, it was scenic and peaceful. Great onsite amenities. Kitchen was great, toilet and shower facilities were great and all kept super clean. The cute onsite honesty shop was a great addition for little extras and souvenirs. Wheel barrows provided to take belongings to the camping area was really good for keeping cars away from tents and the ground in good condition.

Mi è piaciuto It’s a lovely and spacious site with clean facilities and lovely little touches. The owners were very friendly and helpful - it felt like a true family run site. It felt like they’d thought of everything!
Non mi è piaciuto Obviously not their fault, but it’s a very windy site! Not having cars at the pitches is great for the site feeling safe for kids, but the downside is having to move everything by wheelbarrow from the car. It’s a workable solution but a bit of a faff, especially when trying to keep little ones in check.

Amazing hidden gem

Mi è piaciuto Absolute gem of a place. We stayed in the Rowan Bell tent it was fantastic, beds were so comfy and it had absolutely everything we needed and more. Bathrooms were spotless and kitchen area was great never had amenities like it when camping.

Mi è piaciuto Beautiful little spot out of the way but close enough to get to the places you want to go too.
Fab added extras i.e the little coffee shop with snacks is a lovely touch. Beautiful and clean washroom too was very impressed really enjoyed the site.
Also felt very safe on the site as a solo women traveling. The only thing what comes to bother you is a naughty crow at 5am waking you up on top of the tent rather loudly 😂🤣

Mi è piaciuto Spacious, clean, brilliant kitchen unit accessible to all, clean and warm wash facilities. A wonderful little shop with a coffee machine. Fire pits, wood and fire lighters available for a small fee well worth it and very much needed with the wind.

Mi è piaciuto We booked a few pitches to celebrate a friends birthday - between us we had 3 couples, two with kids spread across 3 pitches. We all said it was the best spot we’ve camped so far!
The communal spaces were very clean, well maintained! The showers and toilets were a godsend! Not like other places I’ve stayed where we’ve needed sliders to keep clean after cleaning haha!
The communal fridges were a nice touch - we did bring our own mini fridge as we didn’t expect this, so it’s super handy and helpful for those packing lighter!
The shop was well stocked, grateful as we forgot ketchup for our bbq! Pitches are quite spaced apart however well connected and easy visibility towards toilets and car park, so the kids could roam a little without us being too worried.
Location was spot on, really close to the dam, however no noise from roads or traffic. We could see the cows and horses which the kids loved! We also got to see a hare running around as we sorted our tents, and plenty of birds to watch and listen out for.
Owners were lovely too. We had a welcome message from Sarah while we were on route, and any questions I had were answered via texts so we knew we were in good hands.
