Non mi è piaciuto Poor hook up. Unable to get water heated up.
Water in facilites off in the morning so unable to shower & no power either. Apparently it’s a regular problem.

This is news to us about the power, so thanks for bringing it to our attention. We did have a recent power cut and a full day outage on the 2nd Oct, but these were both national grid and out of our hands. I will get it reviewed though, thanks

Mi è piaciuto Peaceful and quiet, privacy (hedges), cleanliness and tidiness of site, adults only, facilities block excellent, indoor washing up area. Location great and easy access from A140. Dog friendly.

Non mi è piaciuto Hot water for washing up could have been hotter. That’s the only small gripe.
Also it would have been nice to see at least one staff member or person on site.

This is a non staffed site, although the campsite manager does visit most days, along with maintanance who regularly visit during the week, so we are sorry if you did not see them whilst you were there. Mi è piaciuto very clean and tidy. Very spacious pitches. Staff very friendly. Showers very clean and hot. Pub and Cafe nearby.

Non mi è piaciuto We didn’t see any wardens during our 2 night stay.. communication was all done by email ie pitch number which felt a little strange
Toilet/shower block notice advised closure for cleaning between 10 & 11 but when I went for a shower at 8.15 am the ladies were closed for cleaning.

This is a non staffed site, although the campsite manager does visit most days, along with maintanance who regularly visit during the week, so we are sorry if you did not see them whilst you were there. I have reviewed the toilet cleaning situation and have been informed that during August they are cleaned earlier and again later, due to how busy it can be, so we will ask the cleaning team to update signs during this time. Mi è piaciuto Beautiful site, very peaceful, facilities excellent and clean.
Very near to local village pub, 5 minutes in car approx. 15 minutes by foot down country road.

Non mi è piaciuto Arrived on pitch to find dog faeces on grassed area and was obvious dogs had been using grass to urinate on - I'm not opposed to dogs but just think dog owners could be more thoughtful of others and hygiene, doesn't take much to walk a dog!

Mi è piaciuto On arrival the entrance to Deer’s Mead is very nice and the area is very well kept. We had a hard standing area for a caravan although we had a tent as we wanted the electric hook-up but there is a large grassy area for tents. The whole pitch is huge 😊 A really lovely pitch with hedges separating your pitch from others, and it’s very well looked after.
The shower block area and toilet facility is fabulous. The showers are incredibly hot and it’s a rain shower type which is lovely. The sinks are individual and it was very clean. I believe the shower block is cleaned twice a day ✅ It is a really lovely campsite 😊

Non mi è piaciuto Only gripe is the fact the reception area is unmanned but telephone numbers are left if there are any issues. We should have had an email to say which pitch we would be on but hadn’t received this so had to call. All was resolved very quickly though 😊
