Ridgeway View offre un'esperienza campeggio essenziale con ampio spazio e splendidi panorami campestri. I visitatori lodano l'atmosfera tranquilla, il facile check-in e l'accesso diretto al percorso Ridgeway. Le strutture, sebbene essenziali, sono pulite e ben tenute. Mi è piaciuto Only stayed one night whilst bike packing the Ridgeway, excellent location remote, very quite, minimal facilities, fires allowed. Perfect spot and close to the town for food and a pint.

Mi è piaciuto Nous avons beaucoup apprécié le cadre et l’emplacement du camping.
Non mi è piaciuto Les toilettes sont inutilisables du fait des clients qui ne sont pas respectueux. Les douches sont uniquement à l’eau froide. Le bruit est permanent, quelque soit les heures du jour ou de la nuit, les enfants crient, ne sont jamais rappelés à l’ordre. Des campeurs allument leurs voitures pour écouter la musique… les règles ne sont pas respectées et personne pour les faire appliquer…. Au final, nous sommes partis plus tôt.

Mi è piaciuto Lots of space, great views, easy check in, nice firepit hire.
Non mi è piaciuto Portaloos really smelly, but that's kinda unavoidable. Lots of loo roll though, and hand wash.

Mi è piaciuto Beautiful site, manager introduced himself, you can report noise etc by text! Loved the basic facilities and the scenery. Lovely to see children playing in the evening. Easy access to beautiful ridgeway walking.
Non mi è piaciuto This is not on the campsite but some idiot in a fake rust motorhome parked up literally touching our tent! He wasn’t there when we arrived so we didn’t know, but he must have been out for the day and so territorial about the spot that he returned to the exact same spot despite our tent now being there! What a clown! There was so much space! This is a disadvantage of not having marked out spots but luckily there aren’t many idiots like that and it didn’t spoil our stay!

Mi è piaciuto First impression was fab: peaceful, lovely 360 view, no road nearby. Toilets had hand washing facilities and the showers were private. The site is flat making for easy pitch up. We had a campfire in one of the camps fire pits using our own wood. I spoke with the owner over the phone who was very polite and friendly, also they had a pizza van on site which was very handy due to the location.
Non mi è piaciuto Unfortunately, there was a group of drunk ‘lads’ about 30m away from our pitch, who were awake into the early hours (approx 3am) and being very loud. So I only had a few hours sleep overall and it was very broken. I really wasn’t expecting this as the site was so quiet and peaceful on arrival.
If I had earplugs this would’ve helped, however the preference would be that someone would’ve policed the noise levels and ensured folk were adhering to the ‘lower volumes after 10.30’ rule.
Due to the lack of wind, the noise was carrying well and it sounded like they could’ve been stood right outside our tent! It was very frustrating but I didn’t feel comfortable approaching a group of males in the early hours myself to ask them to be quiet.
Everything else was perfect but being as I didn’t really sleep and the groups noise were putting me on edge, I have to give a 7.

Dal gestore: Hi Chloe, I'm sorry about the noise. I did do a walk around just before midnight and all was well but it is impractical for staff to be on site at 3 in the morning.
We do expect everyone to self police and we advertise that it's a quiet site although sadly some people do forget where they are.
We do hope this hasn't put you off coming back in the future!
Had a lovely stay in my camper van with my granddaughter.
