Non mi è piaciuto Very disappointing stay

Unfortunately, our stay was really disappointing. The toilets and facilities were disgusting, with bins overflowing and even poo left on the floor. The area clearly wasn’t being kept clean or maintained properly.

The people in the tents behind us were extremely loud, swearing, arguing and generally kicking off throughout the night, which kept us awake for hours. It completely ruined the camping experience.

On top of that, we found some of the staff moody and rude when dealing with them, which didn’t help matters.

We definitely won’t be returning. The site needs to seriously improve its cleanliness, noise management and customer service.

Mi è piaciuto We arrived to a warm welcome from the staff and directed to our pitch. Plenty of Room on pitch for our 5 man tent.
Fishing was good and the Carp we caught were in great condition.

Non mi è piaciuto We stayed for 3 nights and every night we were kept up from very rude and loud neighbours.
I feel they should have been kicked off site sooner with the things they were saying for everybody to hear and it was absolutely vile and disgusting and most definitely not young ears.
I reported their behaviour twice along with other campers who made multiple reports and they were still were allowed to stay onsite.
Then on the 3rd night with no surprise the police arrived to calm the situation.

Toilet block was shocking and disgusting all times of day.

Food and drink was heavily over priced and food was very standard.

Staff in the spar had no personality and were rude.

Mi è piaciuto The food in the on site restaurant was reasonably priced and delicious with generous portions. The waitress was rude on the first night and almost threw the food at us. However I don't think ALL serving staff were as rude.

Non mi è piaciuto I'm Disabled and currently undergoing cancer treatment so I'm extremely vulnerable to infection. We were totally disgusted with the state of my only option...the Disabled Bathroom. Firstly it was beyond filthy it's clearly not been cleaned properly for many many many months...if EVER!! Now I'll address the facilities within the Disabled bathroom..They were either absent or unusable and dangerous. There was nowhere to put your toiletries for washing or showering, the only hook was far too high for a wheelchair user to reach. Therefore nowhere to put clothes or footwear or towels to keep them dry. There wasn't a chair that was movable to wash my face, brush my hair etc. The shower seat was extremely dangerous as was mostly hanging off of the wall and the vile filth was visible as was the rust and screws !! The shower head was filthy and you couldn't change it's height nor position as it just fell back to where it was. The drain is tiny, filthy, and inadequate the vast majority of water as you shower, covers the entire floor area. And remember....there's nowhere to keep your stuff dry!!! It absolutely stank. The toilet, was dangerous as it had a seat that wasn't meant for that size loo, it fell short as far too small. The toilet bowl was covered in faeces and never cleaned in the 3 days we were there. The small bin was overflowing and not emptied as my empty can of deodorant was still there from when I arrived and tried to freshen up.

Mi è piaciuto The site itself is excellent, plenty of things to do. The restaurant was reasonably priced for a holiday complex. Very quiet during the night. Great location, with a bus stop right outside the site to take you into Mablethorpe.

Non mi è piaciuto The pod was not as new as the one shown in the photo. There was no small decking area as shown, but a stone slab in front of the door, which did make it quite a deep step when going in or out. The toilets were often left unflushed, this isn't necessarily the fault of the site as they can't clean them after every single person.

Mi è piaciuto Spacious, clean, amazing facilities great friendly staff, prices reasonable for a holiday park it wasn’t extortionate, was something for everybody old or young, scenery was beautiful and lots of animals and wildlife pondering around, 1 hundred percent will return- and biggest side not toilets and shower blocks were plentiful and always kept fresh and clean.

Mi è piaciuto Totally enjoyed the stay. We had 2 pods. Son and family in 1 and just me in other. We fished all day Saturday, lake only 20 steps from pod. Kids fished and kept running off to do other things. Entertainment at night was good.

Non mi è piaciuto Toilets not cleaned/looked after very well. Walking back from entertainment at night needs a few more lights around the lake edges, very dark in some places.

Mi è piaciuto The most amazing place we have been we loved it and so did the children. Absolutely fantastic resort no need to leave at all and we didn’t. Thank you!
