A aimé Great location with a pool and near the river Dorgone. After a mix up with my pitch location as someone was on the one I got told to go to I was given a choice of 4 others and very happy with being able to choose. The owners were always busy working on site and for a 3 ☆ site it was very clean. The pool was very welcoming as it was around 38° the 3 days we were there due to the heatwave. A little bar , shop and food onsite ( we didn't try as did a supermarket shop on the way ) , prices looked reasonable. They put the World Cup on for everyone to watch outside on TV's so we saw France & England go out ... Nice views of the countryside around the pool area.

A aimé Arrived to a friendly welcome at the reception. Told to pick my own pitch and just let them know. I really like this as you can choose as much sun or shade you fancy. We watched the World Cup on a projector outside one evening while having a beer. They have a pretty outside terrace to the back overlooking the river. This is one of the cleanest well kept 3 star campsites I have been to in France. The pool area is lovely.

A aimé Excellent site . Been a few times now. Love the location and the views and you can just pick your own pitch. Can't say better than that. The showers ( 2 x 50p coins ) and toilets are always clean. Sally the owner is really welcoming. I would highly recommend this lovely seasonal little site.

A aimé Good location. Near Bodmin centre. Quiet little site 20 ish pitches and half a dozen or so statics over the one side. Individual little wet rooms with toilet, sink & shower. Got sent a text message to say just pick a pitch which i like .

A aimé Amazing clean site . Well spaced pitches. We had a free upgrade from a grass pitch to a hard standing due the weather. RAIN !!! The toilet block ( by hardstadings) is one of the best on any campsite i have ever been to . Nice walks around the site . Plenty for the whole family. Shop and takeaway open shame the bar open the day we arrived and not open the next day which was a Saturday. I really like this site and well situated for the town and beaches

We appreciate the lovely comments that you have made regarding the park, our pitches, the toilet & shower blocks, the facilities that Wooda has to offer and the location of the park. I am sorry to hear that the bar was not open on the second night of your stay. During low season last year some of our facilities closed on certain nights, but we always made sure there was somewhere to purchased something to eat and drink each evening. From this season however we are making some changes and the newly named Yard Coffee, Bar and Kitchen which is set to become an all-day venue, serving as a coffee lounge and bar in the daytime, with dinner service from the kitchen in the evenings, and a rotational lineup of local food vans offering tasty alternatives. The Yard, Cocktail Bar and Mowhay will be a laid-back food and drink zone with a festival style vibe with live music and entertainment on selected evenings. A aimé This site is open all year round and offers great value for money especially off season as the clubhouse provides regular entertainmentant and the drinks and meals are reasonably priced. Owners Paula & Marc are lovely and make you feel most welcome, and as its a family run site they also do alot for the local community . The showers and toilets are attached to the clubhouse but always very clean and hot. I enjoyed my shower. Pitches are level. Well situated with beaches like Bude on the North Coast around half an hour drive and about 15/20 minutes to the town of Launceston that has everything you could possibly need. We will be back especially for the Sunday Carvery.

N'a pas aimé Water in the pot wash could be hotter ( they have a sign up about the boiler pilot light ) but not enough to bother me if you just use the hot only.

A aimé Great location and views. The facilities are unisex ( like most of France) are well kept and clean along with a wash up area as well. I had a text message to remind me to bring 2 x 50p's for the showers which are hot and long enough for the money. The lady owner is lovely and pops over to check you in and also say hello. You can walk into Tintagel and access the footpath at the bottom of the site to walk to St.Nectans Glen. A very relaxed place to stay and pick your own pitch 👌. We will be back again.

A aimé Could pick your own pitch, basically go where you want. I was sent a message the day before advising me we needed 2x 50p coins for the showers. This was very helpful. Shower was hot and long enough. Rubbish point and somehere to wash dishes . The site has some very good views and you can easily walk into Tintagel via the footpath adjacent to the site.

A aimé Decent good size pitches, well marked out . A pub at the top of the road , didn't visit as walked down to the beach within 20/ 25 minutes down the lane. Current facilities clean and showers hot. They are in the process of building a new shower block . I'm sure it will look great when completed. I believe their is a bar onsite but closed will have to check it out on my return.

A aimé Easy access off the A5. Check in board with your name on so you know which pitch to go to . Only 20 in total. Well laid out . Toilets and shower very clean well looked after. Dishwash area with washing machine and tumble dryer. Pub at the bottom of lane, near the road you can walk to in 5 minutes. Fields behind with views to the hills. Nice relaxing site would visit again.

A aimé Friendly helpfull owners . You can get a drink and freshly made pizzas on site next to the fishing lake. Little bar area with TV , tables and comfy sofa. Allowed to face any direction on our pitch grass with plenty of space. Facilities clean . Dishwasher £1.50 by card if you wanted. Enjoyed seeing the chickens , ducks and the turkey roaming around 😆.

A aimé Defined pitches with hedges. Reception staff really nice , friendly & helpful. Spoke really really good English. Helped us with directions to the beach. ( a decent walk away ) Swimming pool really nice. Had table tennis. Trampoline and park for kids. Mixed sex facilities which seems the norm with a timed wristband for the showers. ( long enough) . Clean . Croissants and baguette available to order daily.

A aimé Events on site. Indoor pool, outdoor pool and a Lagoon. Staff really nice. Bar area for drinks. Food available . Great for couples or those with children. Would stay again. 3 nights not enough.

N'a pas aimé No toilet roll provided in the toilets. Would prefer the dish wash area to be located not in with showers/ toilets.

A aimé Very well laid out site. Immaculate clean facilities. Dishwasher also available. Greeted by a really lovely helpful young lady on reception. Walking distance to Lynmouth (if you don't mind a decent stroll ) . A map available from reception. Pub to the entrance of site . We didn't visit as they were closed the early part of the week. Everything you need to pick-up .

A aimé Lovely sea views. Pick your own pitch. Amazing hog roast served 12-19. Would 100% recommend the loaded chips. Dunk ( the owner) came round checking everyone was ok and had a chat. Walking distance to Trebarwith Beach in 30 minutes.
