Bolbec Manor Campsite

A aimé : Wanted a trial run with my car roof tent and a night away from home with my blind kitty, Zooie. I chose Bolbec Manor due to its location to my home, being only 40mins away. I drove into the wrong pitch initially but was able to drive around to the right one! My fault entirely! Toilets were fab, owners super lovely. Campsite relatively small so easy to drive round. Pub right next door with a great menu. I'm sure amazing views but due to the mist and rain, couldn't see them. 10/10 for our first night in the Tentbox!

A aimé : The site is a bit difficult to find having no sign and access is via the pub car park. Once there,lovely views over the countryside, and close to the Derwent reservoir. Nice hedged pitches. Toilets not many, quite basic but clean. Never used the showers.We enjoyed the stay there.

N'a pas aimé: The owners really need to have a sign to indicate its location, but as they seem to be self building a sustantial house there, they have probably heve a busy schedule.

A aimé : Serenity personified! Breath taking views, lovely host and spacious pitches at a very reasonable price. Pub right next door served beautiful food and you can take your dog inside too. We will return definitely

A aimé : Really easy campsite. Spectacular views and location. Showers and toilets spotlessly clean. Right next to pub who could ask for more !!

A aimé : Stayed at Bolbeck manor second visit , it is so lovely, peaceful and well equipped . Owner lovely and friendly. The views are amazing . I encourage you to go to the pub which is a five minute walk,the food is absolutely delicious and they are so accommodating and friendly our pooch loved it too . Would highly recommend a stay here we will be back 🤗

A aimé : Very friendly owners , let us choose our pitch from 3 as we had booked ~ gravel with grass and ehu ,hedges around your pitch . Clean and tidy , lovely hot showers.you pass through the manor pub carpark to access the site ,pub was dog friendly in the bar ,and very friendly staff and customers. Unfortunately for us the pub is closed Monday so didn't get to try the food. Good location with Derwent reservoir just down the road .

A aimé : Really like the pitch location, lovely peaceful site next to a pub for food but make sure you book. Clean and hot showers, yet the facilities are very basic and would not be to a lot of people’s tastes. Always hand wash and toilet roll but never anything to dry your hands with. Will be back again next year no doubt for our pre-GNR ritual.
