A aimé Great location in village for shops, pubs and eating places. Managers Ahmed was lovely, nothing was too much and always around if needed him. Would go back.

N'a pas aimé Unisex toilets. Not nice for a woman especially late evening when dark having to use toilet with a man in cubicle next to them. Lights go off after few seconds and sensor not in cubicle so dark. Also no lighting in camp or outside toilets so pitch black. Bins not emptied in a week and saw rats around cleaning area due to rubbish overspill.

A aimé Close to town coop pubs take aways. Nice loop walk to picnic site.

N'a pas aimé Site uneven very rustic. Pitches not defined or very narrow. Toilets in need of renovation but does the job. Site needs a really really good tidy up rubbish cleared etc.

N'a pas aimé Pitch up should be more careful about advertising this. The majority of people on the Site are permanent and not nice. Speaking to people in the Town we were told it’s a Drug Den. I paid £75 for 3 nights and once I drove on to the Site I had people giving nasty looks which made my Wife very uneasy.
We were also told not to lend anything to anyone as they would say they owned it and steal it. We took the other reviews with a pinch of salt but I would agree with everything that was said now I have been there. We decided to leave and stay elsewhere as it didn’t feel safe

A aimé If you’re looking for a budget friendly campsite to use as a base for exploring Norfolk, then you can’t go wrong

To start off, I think it’s worth mentioning that we only paid £15pppn to stay here on a non-electric pitch in late August, so on this basis, we definitely got our moneys worth.
The campsite is small and very basic, with only one shower and two toilets for the entire site, though surprisingly, there were never any queues and the shower was powerful. There’s free WiFi’ on-site too, which was a bonus.

The campsite is located in a small town/village with plenty of local shops and food outlets including cafes nearby. The site is next to a pretty marina with plenty of picnic spaces. You can cut through to the marina via a path from the campsite though it was pretty overgrown with nettles, so coming out of the site and walking a few meters to the marinas main access, is a much better option.

N'a pas aimé The photos do not accurately reflect the state of the campsite and the pictures of the marina are misleading as it makes it seem as though the site sits directly next to it, especially when it comes up as a site where you can wild swim, which it doesn’t and you can’t.

The pitches are very close together, with no space in between for privacy. This wasn’t a huge problem for us as the site was pretty quiet when we stayed, though would be a problem if it was full, I’m sure there’s regulations about this!

There is lots of potential for this campsite to be much nicer and better maintained as currently it looked very tired and run down.

N'a pas aimé Noise after 9pm, toilet block lacking toilet paper for 3 days, no rubbing bins, rubbish backs stacked outside near wash and water disposal area uneven and rough ground for tents, two toilets for everyone, one sink one shower shower wasn't clean, one shower still being built, dividing wall in toilets that aren't up to the ceiling causing privacy issues loose lino at entrance of toilets making it a trip hazard barely warm water for washing cutlery or for a face wash

A aimé The area is lovely, fairly central to get around Norfolk. Campsite is situated in the middle of Loddon village, lots of local amenities but the actual site is very, very basic.
Think the owners are trying to improve toilet and shower facilities 🤔

N'a pas aimé Unfortunately the main dislike is there wasn't any toilet roll except for the first day I got there (Saturday) until the day I left (Thursday) had to get my own. There wasn't any cleaning done either. Very basic, 1 shower and 2 toilets unisex. Whole site is on a slope and isn't very well kept, no bins, rubbish piled up and just told to pitch where there was a space which was a bit of an issue as i needed electric hook up, good job i had an extension cable with me. Also no fault of the site, the people I was pitched next to were constantly leaving there car running for long periods of time sometimes up to 11pm.

A aimé Thought was a good site owners friendly nice and cheap local pubs within walking distance bus stop not too far to go into Lowestoft had WiFi which was a bonus

N'a pas aimé The site is very uneven. The toilets are not maintained, no toilet paper, the hot water was only luke warm in the toilet and washing up area. The main problem is the number and behaviour of the permanent residents on the site, they left car engines running for hours, loud music playing, smoking who knows what outside and also in the toilets. There was a large amount of rubbish piled up outside the toilets, despite being told that there were bins in the marina. We left a day early as we just didn't feel comfortable on the site.
