What customers say
Great central Loddon location near amenities & river. Staff praised as friendly. Facilities are clean & modern, though basic & can be tight when busy. Pitches uneven, needing blocks. Some tidying needed, but improvements coming under new management.

Liked Location was good, excellent bus service to Norwich Beccles and Lowestoft. Friendly welcome, lots of food places takeaways etc
Disliked We did not have major expectations after reading the reviews, but we wanted somewhere close to Norwich on a bus route. On arrival the site looked very shabby, very rough ground, lots of ?mole hills. Pitches very small, no allocation, told to go where we liked. We had paid £10 extra per night for an awning but absolutely no space to put it up, this was rectified very quickly after we spoke to the young lady who met us on arrival, she arranged a refund.
We were also greeted by 2 other couples who said it was awful and they were not staying, they told us they thought there was a drug problem but to be honest we did smell something but the site was very quiet at night and we did not experience any issues. Only 1 shower, which we were told did not drain, 2 unisex toilets, locks did not work, lighting sensor went out quickly, hand dryer not connected, no hot water at wash up. We were told that a new toilet block was being built but no evidence. There are 3 areas which looks like they may be installing hard standings, but not sure. I’m not sure if there are new owners trying to improve it but at the moment it just looks shabby and rundown. Very expensive for what is offered.

Liked Quiet site
Bus stop near
Disliked Ground is extremely uneven, I use a walking stick and it was very difficult.
The flat areas are for permanent stayers. Fenced off. They took all 4 electric socket on the camping side, So you could not park near fence. This was in two areas. We had to park in a field a person on side advised where to park. The number sites are small. No place for a porch awning.
Only 1 shower
Only 2 toilets with 2 toilet rolls for 30 camping units.
No site allocation.
A very large motorhome smoking cannabis.

Liked Nothing to like
Disliked No one is manning the gate it’s wide open for anyone to drive in and that’s exactly what happened a big group of travelling men drove in to eye up peoples vans and vehicles and stopped at ours and was asking how much we paid etc they then drove off this left us feeling very uncomfortable so we left due to feeling unsafe and like we was going to be robbed later that night!

Good little campsite but beware slipping pitches

Liked Nice area on Norfolk, easy access to the river via the marina, hot showers and 2 toilets on site. Washing up facilities available and toilet disposal. Fresh water available in middle of site. Good WiFi.
Disliked It’s a very sloping site, especially towards to bottom of the site. Pitches are quite small. Someone kept stealing the toilet rolls? Marina area could be a bit noisy at times.

Liked Small campsite in the centre of the village. Great shops pubs and takeaways if you didn’t fancy cooking.
Good sized pitches, toilet shower and washing up facilities.
Nice greeting on arrival.
WiFi free to use and good connectivity
Disliked Very small wooden unisex cabin facilities with 1 shower 2 toilets and one sink washing up area for the whole campsite. With careful planning made it work
Washing up area had no hot water had to get water from toilet basin

A good location in the centre of Loddon but lacking presentation.
Primitive grass and earth tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked The toilets and shower were modern and clean, nice hot shower with plenty of room.
Disliked The whole appearance of the place was untidy, the entrance had digging up works for water pipes but saw no workers, the picnic bench area unfinished. Nettles growing around the edges and old dumped equipment in the corner. Bin area could do with tidying up as felt a bit unclean.
