A aimé Good location close to Bridgnorth. Friendly staff. Pub was pleasant with a great beef pie and gammon. Good selection of gins. Fine for a short stay.

N'a pas aimé Shower block could have been cleaner and it is quite small and dated. Not the fault of site staff but it looked like someone had washed their dogs in the shower as there was literally mud everywhere. They had also left dog mess along the path to the pub. WiFi only works inside the pub.

We’re pleased you enjoyed the location, our friendly team, and the pub, especially the beef pie, gammon, and gin selection. It’s also lovely that you captured the sunset view from your pitch — those sunset views really are something special.

We’re sorry to hear the shower block wasn’t at its best during your visit. Our toilets and showers usually receive many compliments for being warm and clean, and they are thoroughly cleaned every day. We also have clear signage in place stating that dogs are not allowed in the shower block. Unfortunately, on this occasion it appears other guests did not follow these rules, which is frustrating and not reflective of our usual standards.

Regarding the WiFi, we do our best, but being in the countryside — and with a 16th-century inn — reliable connectivity can be a challenge, as these buildings were certainly not designed with modern technology in mind. That said, the signal is strongest in the pub and we continue to explore ways to improve it where possible.

As for the weather… we’ve had a word with it, but it’s refusing to go on a performance improvement plan. If only we could pop a roof over Bridgnorth!

A aimé Lovely place. Quiet with ehu and water and very clean showers and toilets open 24/7. Food was amazing in the pub also. Booking up again in the next few weeks. 👌

A aimé Toilet and shower cubicles are individual so more privacy. Local pub was good and mostly nice food with good service.

N'a pas aimé I appreciate why sites put timers on the showers but I had to keep pressing the shower button every 5 secs which when trying washing your hair and shampoo out it's very difficult and frustrating a bit longer would be appreciated.
Wifi didn't reach the motorhome it was only available in the pub.
But over priced compared to other sites with more facilities and nicer grounds.

We’re really pleased to hear you enjoyed the privacy of our individual toilet and shower cubicles, and that you found the local pub welcoming with good food and service.

We’re glad you mentioned the showers — they are completely free to use and located within a heated shower block, providing extra comfort even on cooler days. The timers are there to help conserve water and support our eco-friendly approach, but we’ll review the timing to see if it can be adjusted to make washing and rinsing a little easier.

Regarding the WiFi, we completely understand your frustration. Being in the heart of the beautiful Shropshire countryside does bring its challenges — even getting a reliable signal to the pub itself has been a bit of a mammoth task! We’re continuing to explore options to improve coverage across the wider site wherever possible.

We’re sorry to hear you felt the site was a little overpriced. Our rates reflect the peaceful rural setting, the facilities we maintain, and the friendly service we aim to provide for all our guests.

N'a pas aimé Not able to walk on roads into Bridgenorth as too busy. Meant we were stuck on site as Campervan was too big to park in Bridgenorth , so left after 1 night.

Thank you for your feedback and for mentioning our friendly staff.

As we are situated in the beautiful Shropshire countryside, footpaths can be limited, and walking into Bridgnorth does involve country roads which may not suit everyone.

With regard to parking in Bridgnorth, we’re sorry you experienced difficulties, but unfortunately, parking restrictions in town are outside of our control and not related to our campsite. Many guests find local taxis a good option if their motorhome is too large for the town centre.

As you have a larger than normal Motorhome, could I make a suggestion that you take more time to plan your next trip in terms of where you can and cannot walk/ drive, as I feel your score of 4/10 is unfair as it has nothing to do with our actual campsite
